Superior Queen Disabled Access Our Superior Queen Disabled Access Room is perfect for the single or couples travelling.These rooms are a spacious 32 square meters, contain a queen-size bed and armchairs. The room and bathroom are open plan so that there is ample room for wheelchair access. The bathroom has been modified offering assistance through additional handrails around all amenities. Figtree Restaurant Where your table will be in the midst of our beautiful garden atrium. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a hot breakfast buffet, tasty all-day menu for lunch and a la carte dinner, along with an extensive wine list.

Capital & Co Bar The place to be. Friends and co-workers can enjoy speciality cocktails and savoury small bites while lounging on the heated outdoor terrace. The Canberra bar also offers a wide variety of beers and wines. Get in early Monday to Friday for our happy hour. We also have live music on Fridays, and Espanol Wednesday features a giant paella pan on the terrace.

Acacia Lounge The abundance of light flowing into the Acacia Lounge makes it great for any networking and tradeshow events. Located near the entrance of the hotel, this area can be sectioned off for private meetings, which is ideal for larger events which need space for group activities.

Atrium Fresh flourishing trees fill the Atrium, with a trickling water feature and colour splashes from the canopy this is the ideal location for corporate dinners, networking events all the all important morning tea break.

Event Room 1 Wellingtons is enclosed by the hotel's stunning indoor atrium. Full of natural light during the day and lit with fairy lights in the evening, the open ended room is great for dinner or lunch events, as well as networking, informal training sessions, seminars, trade shows and displays. It is also conveniently located next to the Figtree Restaurant.

Event Room 2 Event Room 2 is perfect for your next training session or board meeting. Natural light floods through the floor to ceiling windows with a view of the luscious indoor atrium. Event Room 2 shares a foyer with two boardrooms. These self contained rooms are great for events which require complete privacy.

Executive Boardroom 1-5 We have five Executive Boardrooms which are perfect for smaller meetings, breakout spaces, training sessions and interviews. They range in size, accommodating up to 16 people, and are flexible for all your needs.

Figtree Cafe Our Figtree Café is the perfect location to host your lunch or dinner events. Situated in the lovely setting of indoor, fresh, flourishing trees with large windows creating the perfect spring lunch feel. With plenty of space to accommodate all your guest we believe your event will be fabulous in Figtree Café.

Forrest Room 1-3 Part of the Forrest Suite this room is ideal for any meeting from training programs, to team planning days and seminars. With floor to ceiling windows and built in screens these rooms are perfect for your event.

Forrest Suite The Forrest Suite is our most spacious event room and can accommodate up to 200 guests. It can be easily divided into three rooms which are suitable for large breakout rooms or smaller meetings. All three rooms have inbuilt screens which allows for excellent visibility of presentations. Floor to ceiling windows fill the room with natural light, and create direct access to the large outdoor terrace, which is ideal for refreshment breaks or cocktail events.

Directions to Rydges Capital Hill

By Plane Canberra International Airport only serve flights from Melbourne and Sydney. There are flights almost hourly to Sydney and frequent flights to Melbourne. It takes approximately 50 minutes from Sydney, 1 hour from Melbourne, 2 hours from Brisbane and Adelaide, and 4 hours from Perth. The hotel is a 20 minute ride from Canberra.

By Train There are a lot of train connections offers scenic route going to Canberra from Sydney. The train rides takes 4 to 5 hours. Melbourne trains also serve routes going to Canberra.

By Bus All coaches from Canberra stop at the Jolimont Centre, in the city centre and immediately across the road from the Canberra local bus interchange.

By Car The drive from Sydney to Canberra is 290 km and takes around three and a half hours from the Sydney CBD, less from outer suburbs in Sydney. The drive from Melbourne to Canberra is 650 km and takes roughly eight hours on the Hume and Barton Highways, again mostly on dual-carriageway roads.
