Directions to Akama Resort

Getting here is easy, just a picturesque 3.5 hour drive on the Bruce highway from Brisbane and 2.5 hours from the Sunshine Coast. You can arrive by car, train, bus and plane. Flights arrive daily direct from Brisbane, Sydney and soon from Melbourne.Queensland Rail runs a tilt train service from far north Queensland to Brisbane. Your station will be the historic Maryborough where a bus will make the final 36kms of your journey to your luxury Resort accommodation. Two kilometres west is the shopping complex Urangan Central with all you will require, Woolworths, chemist, post office, banks, newsagent and bottle shop.

Akama Resort is situated only 4.5kms from the Hervey Bay Airport taxis and a shuttle service is available.
