The Zambezi Waterfront Complex and Permanent Tents is situated 4 km from Victoria falls, just opposite Siloka Island and offers economical accommodation, ideal for travelers, backpackers and families planning a self-drive camping trip.
The Zambezi Waterfront Complex
has 16 standard twin chalets, six units of which overlook the river.There
are also three executive rooms and four family rooms all of which are
en-suite and have electricity, hot and cold running water, mosquito nets
and fans.
The Zambezi Waterfront Permanent Tents
Thirty (3 x 3m) bow tents built on raised platforms, each
of which can accommodate 2 guests. The tents are set in lawn covered,
shady surroundings and have clean ablution facilities with hot and cold
showers, basin and toilets, as well as electric points. Each site has
access to a braai/barbeque area.
There is a central dining complex with stunning views over the Zambezi river, a wooden deck which stretches out over the river with a unique plunge pool as well as a swimming pool, an open bar and restaurant, where guests can relax or enjoy a meal.
The Zambezi Waterfront offers the famous MV Makumbi, a 100 passenger double-decker cruise boat for river cruises on the mighty Zambezi, as well as the Jambesi, which is a 20 passenger cruise boat.
