Welgevonden forms part of the spectacular Waterberg Region and borders on the Marakele National Park.
Welgevonden has an extensive bird and plant species list.
In the Pitse area there are unique populations of blue cranes, secretary birds and Cape Vultures.

The lodge can accommodate 10 people, with 5 luxurious stone and thatch houses, all with en-suite bathrooms, outside showers and their own private wooden decks.
Two of the units are joined by an entrance hall, ideally suited to families with children.

Lodges 3 and 4 are linked by an entrance hall and are ideal for families with small children.
