Welcome! Ngiri Safaris is owned and run by Andrew & Sue who are both keen conservationists and adventurers. They have combined their love for the bush and nature into one amazing destination. Ngiri Safaris is situated on 1000 ha of pristine bushveld stocked
with 16 species of game. It will soon become part of the newly established
Dinokeng Big Five Game Reserve, and absolutely no hunting is done
on the Reserve. |

As a result the animals are very tame and game viewing can be done on foot, quad bike, mountain bike, microlight, or in a comfortable game viewing vehicle.
Ngiri Safaris hosts beautiful luxury chalets and a wide range of adventure activities for the more adventurous. Ngiri Safaris is a 1 hour drive from OR Tambo International airport, and an easy 30min drive north of Pretoria.
Ngiri Safaris Accommodation
Ngiri Safaris offers 4-star accommodation in luxury thatched chalets and wooden cabins. Our colonial style blends perfectly with the surrounding bushveld, and we’ve made every effort to remain eco-friendly.
We have 3 chalets that each sleeps up to 4 people, and 2 wooden cabins that each sleep 2 people. See, we’ve kept our numbers down so Ngiri Safaris will never be overrun by crowds!
Chalets
Each of our 3 thatch roofed chalets has been built to provide total privacy,
and boasts:
· open plan bedroom with comfortable lounge area
· double bed with stylish linen
· a double bunk in the open plan lounge area
· stylish bathroom with shower
· fully equipped kitchenette
· outside patio with braai facilities
· unspoiled views of the bushveld
· fan
· wood-fired geysers that do not use any electricity
Cabins
Our luxury wooden cabins consist of:
· open plan bedroom
· single beds with stylish linen (for couples beds are pushed together
to make up a king-sized bed)
· lovely bathroom with shower
· outside patio with fully equipped kitchenette and braai facilities
· fan
· wood-fired geysers that do not use any electricity
· unspoiled views of the bushveld

Scuba Diving
Probably one of the most intriguing activities at Ngiri Safaris is our
scuba Diver Training Center, right in the heart of the bushveld. We guarantee
there’s nowhere in the country where you can catch glimpses of game
AND practice your buoyancy control at the same time!
Ngiri Safaris Diver Training Center is open to all dive schools and diving instructors from any training agency, including PADI and NAUI.
Our professional training facilities include:
· a custom made 3m deep scuba training pool
· a heating system is currently being installed which will make
year round training a possibility
· onsite lecture facilities
· 15 sets of full scuba gear for rental
· 45 scuba cylinders
· 2 compressors capable of filling your cylinders to 230 bar if
required
Our Instructor
· is a qualified NAUI Speciality Instructor
· has done and taught all the available Speciality dives
· welcomes all other Diver Training Agencies (PADI, etc)
· IS EXTREMELY PEDANTIC ABOUT YOUR SAFETY

Directions
Take the N1 freeway (Pietersburg / Polokwane Highway) north out of Pretoria.
Go past the Zambezi Drive off ramp and continue through the Pumulani Toll
Plaza. Go past the Pyramid / Wallmansdal off ramp.
Go past the Murrayhill off ramp. Take the next off ramp – Hammanskraal
/ Boekenhoutskloof.
At the top of this off ramp turn right and cross over the freeway.
Take the next turning left called Rust de Winter and continue for around
twelve kilometers.
You will then find a shopping center on the left side called the “Safari
Mall”.
Just beyond the shops, you will find a gravel road turning to the right with a signboard (Dewagensdrift) –turn right into this road.
You will pass a general dealer on the right, continue. The next landmark will be a dirt road turning to the right with a large yellow signboard with “Fort Doppies” written on it, continue past this turn off.
The next road to the right is called Laksman Street. Turn right into Laksman Str and phone us to open the security gate for you. About 500m after the main gate you will find a large black sliding gate with the number 39 on it on the left side of the road. Enter the code (which we’ll give you) and follow the road all the way to the house.
