Sonkwassie is a beautiful fisherman's cottage situated on the West Coast, just 145 km north of Cape Town.
The house has two en-suite bedrooms, an open-plan living/dining room and a fully equipped kitchen.
The unit has excellent sea views, comfortable interiors with wooden floors, an inside fireplace for those colder nights, and an outdoor roof terrace/private patio with a braai area.

Paternoster is an all-year-round destination, famous for its strong traditional fisherman’s architecture, endless pristine sandy beaches, whales and dolphins frolicking in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and breathtaking sunsets.
When the first spring rains fall , millions of indigenous flowers open, carpeting the earth in bright bursts of colour.
The area is home to more than 250 species of birds, with seabirds like the Oystercatcher.

Directions to Sonkwassie
From Cape Town, travel north from Blouberg on the R27.
Turn left at the Vredenburg turn-off and travel through Vredenburg to Paternoster.
The entire trip is approximately 140 km.
Upon entering Paternoster, turn left at the four-way stop.
Continue with this road past the hotel and lodge on the left, past a few fishermen houses and past the church and school on the left.
The office is situated next to the school at Blikkie, a green corrugated iron fisherman cottage
