Mikanoster is a spacious semi-detached family home with an open-plan kitchen and living area.
The Columbine Nature Reserve is 8 km from the village and guests can visit the West Coast Fossil Park, the West Coast National Park and the Berg River Estuary for a day’s outing.
The rooms consist of one double bedroom and two bedrooms with twin beds.

There is one bathroom with a separate toilet, and the patio has an outside braai area and good views.
The kitchen has a stove, microwave and a counter with four stools, while the lounge leads out onto the patio and the lawn.
Paternoster is a charming town dotted with traditional fisherman’s architecture and unending beaches.

Directions to Mikanoster
From Cape Town, travel north from Blouberg on the R27 and turn left at the Vredenburg turn-off.
Travel through Vredenburg towards Paternoster.
The entire trip is approximately 140 km.From Cape Town International Airport, travel towards Cape Town on the N2, take the N7/Malmesbury/Goodwood turn-off called Vanguard Drive and turn right towards Malmesbury.
Travel north on the N7 and turn left at the Melkbosstrand turn-off.
Continue to the R27.
Turn right onto the R27 and travel north past Yzerfontein and Langebaan until you get to the Vredenburg turn-off.
Turn left at the Vredenburg turn-off and travel through Vredenburg towards Paternoster.
The entire trip is approximately 155 km.When entering Paternoster, turn left at the four-way stop street.
Continue with this road past the hotel and the lodge on the left.
Pass a few fishermen’s houses, the church and the school on the left.
The office is situated next to the school at Blikkie - a green corrugated iron fisherman’s cottage.
