With its 180-degree view of the Indian Ocean and Vleesbaai, it offers one of the best ocean views.

Directions to Plankiesplesier
From Mosselbay, take the N2 to Cape Town.
After 8 km, before you meet the N2 from George, you’ll find the turn-off to the left to Dana Bay.
From Albertinia, drive past Mossgas, straight towards Mosselbay.
Do not take the off-ramp to George.
At the first traffic light, turn right to Dana Bay.
At the first four-way stop in Dana Bay, with the filling station on your left, turn left onto Malva Street.
Keep straight on Malva Street, heading downhill.
After the road makes a sharp right, you’ll start to drive parallel with the sea.
Look to your left-hand side for the dark brown house with the name Plankiesplesier.
Across the street is the house of the caretaker, Jack du Plessis, who has the keys.
