Royal Madikwe Accommodation

Royal Madikwe accommodates a maximum of 10 guests in 4 luxury suites. The same contrast of natural tones against a unique fusion of modern and comfortable furnishings is integrated in four open-style suites, each with it's own distinct setting and complete privacy.

Indoor meets outdoors with each spacious air-conditioned suite flowing into it's own elevated game-viewing deck to blend into the African landscape. Guests can enjoy the exclusivity of a private pool, game viewing deck, spacious interiors, fireplace, en-suite bathroom and inside and outside shower.

Luxury Royal Suite
This very spacious bush retreat is perfect for families and can accommodate up to four guests.
· 1 x Double room with large four poster bed and en-suite bathroom with a feature bath and shower
· 1 x Twin room with full en-suite – can be converted into a double

Luxury Double Suites
These two romantic double suites are an ideal haven for couples. Features include:

This luxury twin suite is ideal for friends or older children

Luxury Family Suite
This additional suite accommodates four children and parents and is located in the main residence

· Luxury Double Room adjacent to the children’s suite with en-suite shower ideal for parents with very young children or for Private Staff including Nannies/Butlers/Pilots

Using only the freshest seasonal ingredients, the accent falls on local produce to arouse the senses, with each meal flawlessly matched with award-winning South African wines and a breathtaking setting.

After an exhilarating early morning game drive guests can enjoy an unhurried, seasonal inspired breakfast on the lower deck overlooking the watering hole as nature shows off its wildlife theatre. Afternoon High Tea caters for a sumptuous al fresco affair in the warmth of the sun in summer and a roaring fire in the winter.

Dinnertime is a lavish feast, whether enjoyed formally in the elegant dining room with crystal and chandeliers or outside where the glow of a Boma fire, the view of the waterhole and the singing of the ethnic choir serve up the perfect backdrop to gourmet excellence under African skies.

The daily family game drives are designed to suit all interests with tolerant rangers assessing and evaluating which sightings the children would enjoy most.

Recommended Clothing
The information below is a guide and we will inform you of the weather forecast prior to your arrival. Casual clothes in neutral colours are recommended.

From November to March
Light summer clothes for the hot days and a warm sweater for the cooler morning & evening game drives.

From April to October
Summer clothes can still be worn during the mid day warmth, but an insulated jacket, hat, scarf and gloves are strongly advised for the cold morning and evening game drives as temperatures can be extreme.

Royal Madikwe now offer 3 rates: High Peak, Peak and OFF Peak rates. The OFF Peak rates are now available on a per person sharing rate. Guests can still request sole use during these periods.
