Lupela Lodge is situated in a peaceful and scenic valley in the Witteberg Mountains on a tar road 17 km from Lady Grey and 56 km from Barkly East.
Guests will be delighted by our warm hospitality and good food and they can enjoy great fly fishing as well.

Lupela Lodge Accommodation

Our self catering cottage has 5 en-suite bedrooms accommodating a maximum of 10 guests and it has a spectacular view of the mountains and the river.
There is a sleeper couch in the lounge, a kitchen fully equipped with a fridge / freezer, stove and a microwave.
The cottage is serviced daily, bedding / towels are provided (except swimming towels), electric blankets are provided, firewood at reception and the lounge is with a pub and log fireplace. Guests also have their own braai facilities.

How To Get To Lupela Lodge

From Gauteng, Port Elizabeth, East London, Bloemfontein
Travel on the N6 Bloemfontein-East London and turn on R58 to Lady-Grey and Barkley East. Drive past the Lady-Grey turnoff.
Travel for 17.5km on the R58 until you reach a left hand turning signed Lupela Lodge and Karringmelk River Resort. Lupela Lodge is at the end of this dirt road (5.4km).
From Barkly East, Rhodes, Elliot, Maclear
Travel from Barkly East towards Aliwal North on the R58 and turn off at the Lupela Lodge and Karringmelk River Resort sign on your right hand side and continue to the end of the farm road (5.4km).
