The Vaal Lookout Accommodation

Guest accommodation comprises of 5 double suites, each with a sumptuous bathroom en suite.
Its 2 enormous, dam-facing, upper level guest rooms are reminiscent of the elegant staterooms on a luxury liner.
The 2 suites at the rear are also beautifully appointed, each in an individual style, the one Victorian and the other African in character.

How To Get To The Vaal Lookout

From Johannesburg
Take the N3 highway to Durban, continue until just before Heidelberg (about 20 mins) and take the first Heidelberg off-ramp, signposted Heidelberg North.
At the top of the off-ramp, turn left and then left again, just after you have crossed over the highway you have just been travelling on.
After about 5 kilometres you will come into Heidelberg proper – carry straight on (do not get into the left lane and go up onto the viaduct).

You will come to a stop street – carry on straight for about 300 metres, turn right at sign saying VAAL DAM and after about 45 kms you will come to a 4 way stop – the dam will now be in view, ahead on the left.
Carry straight on towards Deneysville, which you will reach after crossing the bridge over the Vaal River, just below the dam wall.
Turn left into Deneysville and continue straight along the road you are in – MAIN STREET – past the bowling greens, on your left and up the short hill.
Just past the Pam Golding office turn left into Johnson (dirt road) and carry on until the end of the block, to the intersection with Plein.The Vaal Lookout is the large, yellow property on the corner of Johnson and Plein.
