Biesievlak Cottage and Camp is situated in the Golden Valley of Citrusdal on Biesievlak Farm which is a family run farm by Schalk Laubcher.
The Farm is surrounded by Sandstone Mountains and situated on the banks of the Olifants River in the upper river region of Citrusdal on the Keerom road and are covered in Citrus plantations.

This is longer the case with the arrival of Biesievlak Cottages and Campsite.
The hassle and logistics of a camping weekend in the Citrusdal Valley is now a thing of the past.
The slogan, “You only bring food and clothes,” shakes up any preconceived idea you have about camping leaking tents, missing poles and pegs, hard ground and sand fleas.

Camping
You have a choice of bringing your own gear or if not feeling like it to pack in and out and in and out again just hire one of our Freeform Villages to experience camping on grass next to river under wild fig and oak trees on a citrus farm - you only bring food and clothes (check list provided).
The campsite has abundance of birds with over 100 species been identified including, secretary birds, Egrets, Herons, Cormorants, grebes and loads more.

Self-catering Cottages
There are two homely River cottages both facing the river with a lovely deck to braai and experience your meals under the stars with the sound of running water and natures orchestra from your deck.
With a Queen Size bed with Cotton percale bedding and two single bunk beds the cottage is perfect for a family.
The kitchen is fully equipped with Fridge and Freezer, Microwave, stove, kettle and toaster.
