If you are looking for peace and tranquility, with a bit of adventure then we invite you to visit us at The White House Guest House, located in the quiet and up market suburb of Heuwelsig in Bloemfontein. The Guest House is set in a little piece of paradise, boasting manicured sub-tropical gardens with breathe taking views of the city. Its close proximity to the Soaring Safaris, an international gliding club for pilots, makes for an exciting visit for both Local and International guests from the UK, Germany, France and Italy. This plush suburb of Bloemfontein is located less than a kilometer away from one of the largest military establishments on the African continent, the Tempe Military Base, this offers a strong sense of security for our guests. |

In the same area is the Mimosa shopping mall with a number of restaurant chains catering for a wide variety of local and international cuisine, including a number of retail outlets.
The White House is also in walking distance from the largest private medical facility in the province. It is approximately five minutes drive from the University of Free State, this is especially convenient for visiting academics yet far removed from student residences, offering a sense of privacy.
It is also less than five minutes drive from the Nelson Mandela Drive which feeds into the N1 Highway to Cape Town, Kimberley, East London, Port Elizabeth or Johannesburg. This gives you a very easy way in and out of Bloemfontein with very limited traffic.
The White House Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
We have ten rooms including one Bridal suite and one very large private suite. All rooms are linked to a network providing a 24 hour internet connection with a 512k internet line. We have DStv and air-conditioners in all but three of our rooms.
