Although based in Bloemfontein, South Africa, Namib's owners, Willie and Helene originally lived in Namibia and still travel there as often as possible. They brought with them many memories, stories and years of experience. Each room has attempted to capture a feeling of Africa and, obviously, a touch of the Namib, which is the nickname for Namibia / South West Africa.
With so many guests returning time after time, there is definitely something unique about Namib Guest Rooms.
Namib is an affordable alternative to a hotel or lodge and has a homely atmosphere but still offers privacy and comfort for all guests. Units have own bathrooms, mostly en-suite, semi-selfcatering, TV's with SABC1,2,3, e and MNet. DSTV on request.
Rooms are all decorated in their own style for a homely atmosphere with
items from Namibia and some family artwork.
Rooms are equipped with the following:
* Fridge, microwave-oven, kettle, tea & coffee, communal BBQ area.
* TV with SABC 1, SABC 2, SABC 3, eTV and M-net. (DSTV on request)
* Own Bathroom.
* Secure Parking and use of Swimming Pool.
Important notes:
No Pets allowed.
No Smoking in the units.
No Noisy parties or meetings.
Unit 1
Unit 1 is a small family apartment with a private double bed and 2 single
beds sharing a shower bathroom on-suite. There is a full kitchenette and
private entrance with a private garden with BBQ / Braai and direct access
to the swimming pool.
Unit 2
Unit 2 has 3 single beds and a full bathroom. Private entrance with communal
BBQ / Braai area and some basic self-catering equipment.
Unit 3
Unit 3 is a basic self-catering family room with a double bed and 2 single
beds, a shower bathroom and private entrance with communal BBQ / Braai
area.
Unit 4
Unit 4 has 2 single beds and a shower bathroom. Private entrance with
communal BBQ / Braai area and some basic self-catering equipment.
Unit 5
Unit 5 has 1 double bed and a shower bathroom. Private entrance with communal
BBQ / Braai area and some basic self-catering equipment.
Unit 6
Unit 6 is a spacious family room with a double bed, single bed, full bathroom
and some basic self-catering equipment. Private entrance with communal
BBQ / Braai area.
Unit 7
Unit 7 has 2 single beds and a full bathroom. Own entrance, communal BBQ
/ Braai area and has basic self-catering equipment.
CHILDREN:
Children are welcome on our property, but are to be supervised by a legal
adult or guardian at all times.
SMOKING: No Smoking allowed in or close to buildings. Our regular guests are non smokers and we are proud to offer rooms and buildings that have not been smoked in. The garden areas are available if a smoking area is needed.
GENERAL:
Arrival Time: 2pm or later. (Please advise what your planned arrival time
is)
