All rooms offer private entrances and are surrounded by a beautiful garden with water features, hammocks and an African barbeque area. Here guests can escape and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere after a long day. Rooms are equipped with television (DSTV), bar-fridges and hairdryers and refreshments are provided upon your arrival.

Each room at Jedidja has its own en-suite bathroom, private entrance from the garden and a patio.

Ivy Room
The Ivy room with its private verandah is perfect for those who seek privacy or work space. This room can alternatively be linked to the Fern room when parents want to keep an eye on their children.

Maple Room
The Maple Room is the largest room at Jedidja and is perfect for couples with small children. Apart from the main bedroom, bathroom and verandah, it has a small lounge with a sleeper- couch which folds open into another bed if needed.

Bamboo Room
The Bamboo Room is one of the smaller rooms at Jedidja, yet it is very comfortable for singles seeking solitude or for couples without children.

Fern Room
The Fern room with its private verandah is perfect for those who need privacy or work space. It can alternatively be linked to the Ivy room so that parents can keep an eye on their children.

Palm Room
The Palm room is a deluxe unit which boasts under floor heating and a heated towel rail in its new, wet look bathroom. The bedroom has a solid wooden floor and queen bed, with a small lounge area equipped with a desk, coffee and tea facilities, as well as a small bar fridge. The room has its own entrance from the garden.

Each room comes equipped with its own: hairdryers, clock radios, ceiling fans, wall heaters, electric blankets, air-conditioning and generous bath sheets and amenities.

There are 2 types of accommodation available at Jedidja, double and twin rooms. These may also be available for use as a single, and all are en suite. Price includes a surprise breakfast with fresh fruit, etc.

Garden
Jedidja’s garden is a delight for those who are nature lovers. The garden has several water features which attract a variety of bird species. Like the house, the garden also clearly displays the owners’ love for the arts. On clear days, breakfast can be taken outside on the verandahs on request.

Breakfast
A wholesome breakfast is included with the room rates and is served every morning in the dining room. Jedidja’s friendly staff and owners rise at dawn to prepare this meal and are always willing to assist guest with tourism information. Meals are prepared to suit guests’ individual needs on request.

Art Gallery
Jedidja Guesthouse is a very enthusiastic patron of the arts. This fact is clear upon entering the main house and dining room, where works by Bloemfontein artists are often on display, as well as for sale. The Guesthouse is very close to Bloemfontein’s leading art museum, Oliewenhuis, for those visitors who are art lovers. The art works on the website are done by Sanei.

Bloemfontein Highlights
Bloemfontein, meaning, “fountain of flowers” also known as the City of Roses with thousands of rose bushes lining the city. The rose gardens in Kings Park offer thousands of rose trees truly a magnificent sight.

Jedidja is situated close to Bloemfontein’s leading art museum, Oliewenhuis, for those visitors who are art lovers. A city steeped in history with the city centre lined with historical buildings, including the picturesque tree-lined President Brand Street; a national monument.

Naval Hill is worth a visit, a small nature reserve of approximately 192 hectares offers a bird’s eye view over the city home to a modern Orchid House claiming to have the world’s largest collection of orchids. There is also a fragrance garden for the blind close to Orchid House.

• 3 Km further at the fly over take the M10 –Market Noordhoek turn off
• 4 Km go over train bridge round circle 2nd street into Wilcocks road
• Till next circle, turn left into Eeufees road
• A block further at traffic light turn left into Waverley road.
• The fourth street to your right is Innes avenue just after circle in road.
• Jedidja is at 2a Innes avenue, the 3rd house on your left hand.

Directions from N1 to Jedidja
• Take the R700 turn off
• From Cape Town turn right over the bridge towards Eeu Fees road
• From Johannesburg keep left towards Eeu Fees road.
• 6 Km further go road traffic circle 2nd road out.
• A block further at traffic light turn left into Waverley road.
• The fourth street to your right is Innes avenue just after circle in road.
• Jedidja is at 2a Innes avenue, the 3rd house on your left hand.
• Entrance small gate

• From Zastron or Nelson Mandela turn into First avenue going north
• Right into Barnes street till T
• At the T turn left into Aliwal street
• AT the 4th traffic light turn right into Waverley
• The fourth street to your right is Innes avenue just after circle in road.
