Our Cottages

Anthony’s Cottage
This is a Compact fully equipped self-catering cottage separate from the main house and has its own entrance and exit.
Single or Double. Max occupancy 2 persons plus baby camp cot if required. This unit has 1 x Double Bed (Has Electric Blanket if required), and is Fully Air conditioned.

54 cm Remote Color TV with SABC, M-Net and DSTV SAT Total 6 channels, and also has Mini Hi-Fi with CD DVD player. The bathroom consists of a Bath , separate shower ,toilet and vanity basin, and basic complimentary toiletries are supplied.

The Kitchen is fully equipped to cater for 2 persons and has a 4 plate electric stove, Fridge with Freezer compartment, Microwave oven, crockery & cutlery. Complimentary Tea and Coffee tray. Wireless Internet is available from this unit for non-Vista users only.

Telephone in the unit with free calls to TAXI & MR DELIVERY as well as Emergency Numbers. Mr Delivery have a regular delivery service up to 10 pm to B&B@53, and menus are available in the unit. Secure parking with remote access.

George’s Cottage
This is a fairly large fully equipped FAMILY or GROUP-type self-catering cottage separate from the main house and has its own entrance and exit. Max occupancy 6 persons plus baby camp cot if required. This unit has 1 x Double Bed and 1 x single bed in the bedroom section, and then it has additional 2 x single beds in the open plan lounge area. The open plan lounge and eating area is fully air-conditioned, and the bedroom has a ceiling fan.

2 x 54 cm remote color TV with SABC, M-Net and DSTV SAT. Total 6 channels. One TV is in Bedroom and the other in the lounge area. Hi Fi with CD DVD player in lounge area. The bathroom consists of a shower, toilet and vanity basin, and basic complimentary toiletries are supplied.

The Kitchen is fully equipped to cater for 6 persons and has a 4 plate electric stove, fridge with freezer compartment, Micro wave oven, crockery & cutlery. This unit also has a separate secured courtyard just off the main bedroom, and is perfect for persons traveling with a pet dog /dogs. There is also a small garden area off the lounge which is suitable for braaing. Complimentary Tea and Coffee tray.

Charlie’s Cabin
This lovely little self-contained log cabin is located in the garden near the splash pool. This unit is air conditioned, and has full self-catering facilities and also has an open Verandah overlooking the garden. A 54 cm remote color TV with 6 channels is there to entertain you. Parking is directly at the cottage door. This unit has been very tastefully decorated in feng shui fire oranges & browns.

Freddie’s Flophouse
Freddie's Flophouse consists of a very small bedroom with a double bed, and also has a compact self catering kitchenette with Fridge Micro Wave and 2 plate stove. The Bathroom leads off the kitchen and has a bath vanity basin and toilet.
This room has its own entry and exit, and also has the facility or flexibility to open into Corne's Corner via an interleading door if required.

The Blue room is a comfortable double bed bedroom with a full en-suite bathroom, and is situated in the main house. This room does not have a separate entrance or exit, and access is from the passage of the main house. This room is equipped with a non-stocked mini Bar Fridge, Complimentary tea / coffee tray. Single or Double sharing. Max occupancy 2 persons plus baby camp cot if required.

This unit has 1 x double bed (Has Electric Blanket if required), and is air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan. 54 cm Remote Color TV with SABC, M-Net and DSTV SAT. Total 6 channels. Edwardian Room
The Edwardian room is a comfortable twin bed bedroom furnished with solid Imbuia ball & claw-style furnishings. This room has a shared en-suite Shower, basin and toilet and is situated within the main house but also has a separate entrance onto a quaint wooden verandah / deck with 4 steps leading into the garden and pool area.

This room is fully air-conditioned and is equipped with a mini Bar Fridge and complimentary tea and coffee tray. Single or Double twin sharing. Our Caravans
We have 2 De Luxe Gypsy 4B Caravans which are fully equipped to offer cozy comfortable accommodation . We must however stress WE ARE NOT A CARAVAN PARK but rather a B&B, and our 2 Caravans are unlike any you would usually find at a Caravan Park. We also do not permit camping or tents, or any other Caravans being towed in to our premises.

Each caravan can sleep up to 4 persons in a 1 x Double Bed plus 2 x Single bed configuration. Ablution facilities are provided by way of a quaint log cabin type bathroom situated approx 15 meters from the caravans. The Bathroom has a Bath / Vanity Basin / Toilet. An Outside wash trough is also provided.

Cooking of any description in the Caravans is strictly prohibited for health and safety reasons, however guests are welcome to heat pre-cooked, pre-prepared and take-away meals in the microwave provided. Rates differ as per each guest's requirements and the number of persons sleeping per caravan.

Our Caravans are permanent fixtures, and are situated in an Ivy covered garden and are equipped as follows:
All Bedding and linen is supplied, 220 Volt Power supply, Television with 6 Channels including Mnet & Satellite, Bar Fridge, Microwave Oven, Kettle, Complimentary Tea & Coffee Tray, Telephone with complimentary free calls to Mr Delivery / Taxi & Emergency Numbers, Radio, Electric Fan & Electric Heater.

Backpackers Accommodation
This is a very large 2-roomed unit which is aimed at accommodating larger groups who are wanting clean and comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. This unit is perfectly suited to accommodate large families/ school sporting groups / contract type workers and any person who is prepared to share accommodation with others.

This unit is like a backpacker type accommodation but with a few added luxuries like TV with Mnet & DSTV and is fully equipped to self-cater for 8 persons, with large stove & fridge. Microwave & Urn . This unit has its own bathroom which has 2 shower cubicles as well as a basin and a toilet. Wireless internet is available for non-vista users only.
Complimentary Tea / Coffee tray. TV with Mnet & Satellite - 6 channels.

Our Services
We have a very small, heated splash spa pool just big enough to cool down or sit and relax in. Swimming towels are not provided. We have a faxing facility available on site for receiving & sending faxes. We have a 1.8 MBS 24 hour Internet facility available which is chargeable.

We will gladly keep any items in safe custody. Some of our units have a mini wall safe. We have a laundry service which operates from Monday To Friday. All items laundered are at the risk of the guest, and we do not launder ladies underwear

We have a regular arrangement with 3 major meter taxi operators. They can be called from the telephone in your unit. Settle directly with the service provider.

We sometimes have a banger available at very low rates. It is a non-status vehicle, a simple mode of transport, usually a VW Beetle. Talk to us before you rent a car.

We have a regular and reasonably fast MR DELIVERY TAKE AWAY service and you will find the Menu in your unit. You are welcome to call them no charge from the complimentary telephone in unit.

Breakfast
Served daily from 07h00 to 08h00 in the main house. Breakfasts are optional and not standard or included with accommodation.

Full English: Yogurt & Muesli, 2 cereals to choose from, bacon, sausage, eggs, tomato, toast, cheese, various jams, fresh fruit, fruit juice, coffee / tea.

Light Health: Yogurt & Muesli, 2 cereals to choose from, toast, cheese, various jams, fruit juice.
