For a truly unique African style, country-bush wedding, Sneezewoods is all you’ve ever dreamt of and more.
Situated just 45 minutes outside Port Elizabeth, on a farm in Addo, we offer an amazingly unusual wedding venue, built of mud and thatch which is able to comfortably seat 120 guests, both for the ceremony and reception.

Closest friends and family can be accommodated on our farm, in African style mud huts, and we are less than 1km from the Casa Mia Health Spa, where the bride and her party can be pampered on her big day.

Sneezewoods is located on the same farm as our existing bed and breakfast, Chrislin African Lodge, and can accommodate about 24 wedding guests in comfort, in African-style mud huts.

Sneezewood Wedding and Conference Centre Accommodation

Each hut has been created with rustic Africa in mind and replicates the authentic African mud hut.
The roof is thatched with grass, and the walls are made from earth and clay. We have 8 standard and 4 luxury huts.
Each standard hut has its own en-suite bathroom (with shower, basin and toilet) and sleeps 2 adults on queen sized or twin beds.

Some of the huts can also accommodate a third person, on a sleeper couch. The luxury huts are also en-suite and sleep.
2 adults on King sized or twin beds. The also have air conditioning, a small lounge and a dressing room.
We can also assist in finding alternative accommodation in Addo for other wedding guests.

Directions to Sneezewoods

From Port Elizabeth: Take the N2 past Blue water Bay, and take the Motherwell/Markmann (R335) turnoff to Addo. Keep on this road for about 40km until you reach the small village of Addo. Opposite the Police station, take a left turn down Valentine road (which becomes a gravel road), we are about 2km down this road. We are well sign posted.

From East London: Take the R72 as far as the Nanaga intersection. Take the N10 in the direction of Paterson / Cradock.
Drive as far as Paterson, and take a left turn onto the R342 to Addo.
Drive about 40km (past the entrance of the Addo Elephant park) until you reach the village of Addo.

Opposite the Police station, take a right turn down Valentine road (which becomes a gravel road), we are about 2km down this road. We are well sign posted.

From Graaf Reinet through Kirkwood: Turn off the R75 to Kirkwood, and drive through Kirkwood on the R336. Keep driving in the direction of Addo.
You will pass the “Africanos” Restaurant on your left. Keep driving for another 2km, and look out for our sign, “Chrislin B&B & Sneezewoods”, follow our sign by turning right onto a gravel road. Drive straight on the gravel road, until you reach our entrance.

Conferences
Sneezewoods is the perfect location for any business to hold business meetings, team building experiences, corporate events, lectures and company functions.
Our conference facility is very flexible and adequate, and we will try our utmost to meet your every desire. We can arrange the necessary equipment needed to fulfil any of your requirements and our in-house catering can cater according to your specific needs.
We are also able to arrange game drives in nearby game parks such as Addo Elephant Park, Shamwari, Schotia safaris and Amakhala. Other fun activities such as hiking, horse riding and elephant back riding can also be arranged.
