A striking Charles Rennie Mackintosh inspired Arts and Crafts mansion
situated close to Dumfries town center. The house dates from 1924 but
was completely refurbished during 2002 and much care was taken to retain
its original charm and character.
All of their rooms feature spacious en-suite facilities and are equipped and furnished to the highest standard. They offer a friendly and relaxed service with a wide degree of flexibility in their terms and conditions. They are happy to reply to queries and can generally adapt and comply with any reasonable request.
Their rooms are furnished and equipped to the highest standards, with genuine antiques in keeping with the age and style of the house where possible. Each room provides a comfortable and relaxing place to rest and contemplate your exploration of the surrounding area.
All contain en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, large colour television, iron and ironingboard, hairdryer and readily available Wi-Fi Internet access. Externally they have secure storage for bicycles, golf clubs and fishing tackle. Drying facilities for sports clothing and equipment are available on request. They are a non-smoking residence and unfortunately cannot accommodate pets.
