Getting there from the Information Center
Turn right out of TIC and go to the crossroads. Carry straight on up the
hill (Grange Road).
Hotel is 200 meters on the right.
Getting There by Car
By Road: Around an hour north by road from Inverness and about a further
ten minutes from Inverness Airport. Heading north from Stirling in central
Scotland you’ll simply follow the A9 the whole way and Dornoch is
only a mile off the main route. The drive time from Aberdeen Airport to
Dornoch is just over three hours and is just under four hours drive from
Edinburgh.
Getting There by Railway
Take train from Inverness to Train.
Then catch a bus from Train to Dornoch. Alight Dornoch Center Go to main
crossroads at end of main street. Continue straight across, up the hill
(Grange Road) and hotel is 200 meters on the right.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Inverness Airport by car head toward Inverness on A96. At Tesco roundabout
go straight on. At next roundabout (A9) take 3rd Exit heading north on
A9. Carry on heading north over the Kessock Bridge (past Inverness Football
ground on right). Follow directions for Wick and Thurso. After approx
45 minutes cross over Dornoch Firth road bridge then after approx 2 miles
take right onto A949 to Dornoch Center Continue through Dornoch town.
At end of main street come to a crossroad.
Go straight on to Grange Road up slight hill. Hotel is 200 meters on right.
