Scotlands largest ski center (Glenshee) is just up the road, where you can enjoy the finest skiing in the uk. We offer hearty Scottish breakfasts, log fires and warm beds.

The bedrooms are all comfortably furnished, newly decorated and have en-suite facilities, apart from one twin room which is adjacent to a bathroom/shower room. All rooms have a hospitality tray, magazines and information pack with places of interest to visit.
The bedrooms to the front of the house face east and enjoy the early morning sunshine. The views over the surrounding Grampian Mountains are spectacular.
To the east is Craig Coinach and locally know Coo Hill and to the west is the higher summit of Morrone and over to Cairnadrochit. The rooms facing west benefit from the afternoon and evening sunshine over the mountains.

Braemar is very easy to find. From Aberdeen follow the A93 through Peterculter,
Banchory, Aboyne and Ballater. It is a straight road with good signage.
Schiehallion Guest House is on the left ahnd side of the road just before
you leave the village to climb the hill to Glenshee Ski Center. If in
doubt follow the signs to the Youth Hostel, all call us on 013397 416
