The upper level boasts a large fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom with queen bed, and deck to enjoy morning sun. Red Lane Cottages are located in an area filled with wonderful places to go and things to do. Both quiet and lively, some of the best natural features of Anne’s Land are encompassed in the Prince Edward Island National Park, with its miles of white sand beaches, rolling farm fields stretching down to the shore, red cliffs and tiny villages.

The National Park, which includes Green Gables, the home that inspired L.M. Montgomery to write the novel Anne of Green Gables, offers extensive interpretive programs to explain to visitors the natural, cultural and historic landmarks found within its boundaries.

Nearby is the old and picturesque village of North Rustico, where a new museum interprets the lobster fishery for visitors. Enjoy a day of kayaking, deep sea fishing, boat tours, or just lounging away the hours on the local beach.

If you enjoy golfing, choose from a grand total of eleven nearby courses. For the kids, there are water slides, adventure parks, deep-sea fishing and kayaking.

Take Rte 1 to Middleton, turn right on to Rte 225. At Hartsville, turn left onto Rte 13. Follow Rte 13 to New Glasgow. Turn right onto Rte 258. Drive a couple minutes and you will see Red Lane Cottage sign on left.

…from the City of Charlottetown, Charlottetown Airport:
Take Rte 2 west to Milton. At Milton, turn Right onto Rte 7. This will turn into Rte 6 at Oysterbed Bridge. Follow Rte #6 to Rte 258. Red Lane Cottage on Right.

…from the Wood Islands Ferries:
Take Rte 1 changing to Rte 1A to Charlottetown. Take Rte 2 west to Milton. At Milton, turn Right onto Rte 7. This will turn into Rte 6 at Oysterbed Bridge. Follow Rte #6 to Rte 258. Red Lane Cottage on Right.
