Swahili beach resort is a beach bungalow resort situated on a most beautiful part of Zanzibar Island, the famous dolphin coast in the south west – Kizimkazi.

Swahili Beach Resort is built around a lush and spacious garden. In front of the resort lies the Indian Ocean, offering you a stunning view from the bar restaurant, swimming pool and gardens. In addition to the beautiful natural surroundings a wide range of facilities and activities are available to make your vacation as relaxing and inspiring as possible.

Our rooms are beautifully decorated and all have large Zanzibari beads. For your convenience they are all equipped with air-conditioning, T.V. fans and en suite bathroom. The bathrooms are small wonders in themselves, covered in azure blue tiles a traditional way of decorating which is the influence of many years of Arabic reign in Zanzibar

Our restaurant has a spectacular view of the Indian Ocean and the swimming pool. The restaurant serves breakfast lunch and dinner. The menu is a blend of Zanzibari, Indian and continental, with of course amazing seafood provided by our own local fishermen of Kizimkazi.

Kizimkazi is an unexploited village, indulged in a traditional Zanzibar lifestyle, full of rich culture and surrounded by peaceful, warm and welcoming people. It is one of the oldest habitats in east Africa and the oldest known mosque in the region is situated here.
