The Rest Camp is situated right in the middle of Victoria Falls town in Zimbabwe making it a perfect place to be based with all amenities within walking distance. The Restcamp is only 2km’s from the falls making it the closest campsite to the Victoria Falls. The security around the camp is a top priority with high stainless steel fences and electric fences making it first-class. The rest camp boasts numerous well maintained grass areas and an abundance of different varieties of trees making the surroundings in the camp very enjoyable. It makes this restcamp very popular for families as children have a safe and secure scenic environment to play in. |
The Municipal Camp is situated right in the middle of Victoria Falls town making it a perfect place to be based with all amenities within walking distance. The rest camp is only 2 km from the falls making it the closest campsite to the falls.
The Municipal camp boasts numerous well-maintained grass areas and an abundance of different varieties of trees making the surroundings in the camp very enjoyable. The accommodation is economical and ideal for travelers, backpackers and families planning a self-drive camping trip.
The Campsite is set in cool shady surroundings, which is covered by lawn
and can accommodate up to 200 guests. The site has clean ablution facilities,
with hot and cold showers, basin and toilets, as well as electric points.
Each site also has a braai/barbeque area.
The Vic Falls Rest Camp features a big swimming pool where guests can
cool off from the heat and relax while the children have fun in the pool.
In Da Belly restaurant is situated in the rest camp and provides a delicious
affordable menu catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks
during the day.
Our Reception area is open and friendly with an information deck that can deal with any of your enquiries and questions. The activity desk is a popular place at the rest camp with visitors as all information on all activities as well a bookings take place there. Victoria Falls is known as the adventure capital of Africa and with so many activities on offer the activities desk is the first port of call for the visitors. No matter what activity you are looking for in Victoria Falls from the adrenalin activities of bunji jumping to white water rafting to a family visit to the crocodile farm where visitors can hold a baby croc, the activity desk will be able to furnish you with all the up to date information as well as booking the various activities.
The reception also offers clients a safe keeping facility at reception for all your valuables, ensuring a peace of mind on your trip. There is a daily laundry facility at the rest camp to ease to worry of having to try and do laundry when on holiday. The well stocked gift shop offers Victoria Falls tourists an opportunity to pick up last minute souvenirs and memorabilia of the rest camp and falls.

Drive. The main gate is opposite the intersection of Parkway drive and
West drive. It is the closest campsite to the falls, about 2km from the
Falls and approximately 20km from the Victoria Falls Airport
