Jollyboys, Zambia's original backpackers! We were established in 1995 and have helped many people from all nationalities around the world stay at an affordable cost and experience the best of Zambia. This lodge is run by backpackers for backpackers. Situated right behind the Livingstone museum, our staff members are trained to advise you on all activities and up-to-the minute travel information. The swimming pool is refreshing and the beers are always cold, here you can experience a relaxed and friendly atmosphere while taking part in our many activities. |
Our features include:· Bicycle hire, daily drop off at the victoria
falls, as well as internet and email facilities. You are more than welcome
to use our free pool and table tennis tables. Or soak up some sun next
to the pool while reading a good book .An afternoon stroll though our
stunning garden with a verity of fruit trees(mango, banana, avocado, papaya,
guava and lemon) is a wonderful alternative.
Visit our Jungle drum shop to see some of the stunning gifts and creative
ingenuity done by the locals.
Campers, dorms and private rooms all share a communal ablution block,
with hot and cold water, there are also two en-suite rooms available.
Our restaurant offers exceptional value with a mixture of both traditional
Zambian recipes and international favourites. If you would like to take
care of your own meals there is a self catering kitchen available as well.
No matter what you decide to do, as long as you have fun doing it!

Where is Jollyboys Lodge?
Jollyboys Backpackers is located right behind the Livingstone
Museum and Civic Centre. If you are arriving from Lusaka, go down the
main road and turn RIGHT before the museum and then take your first left.
If coming from Zimbabwe or Botswana, travel up the main road and turn
LEFT after the museum and take your first left. If traveling from Lusaka
by bus, we recommend the Mazahandu Family Bus www.mazhandu.com which arrives
into Livingstone only 150 meters from the backpackers! If arriving from
Namibia on the bus, we recommend the Intercape Mainliner www.intercape.co.za
which arrives into Livingstone only about 400 meters from the backpackers!
Please note we do not accept children under 12 at the backpackers
