Directions to Backpackers District Six
From Cape Town International Airport, take the N2 towards the city center.
Keep to the far left lane following the De Waal Drive split, and when nearing the city at the end of this road move to the middle lane, taking the Roeland Street route.
Do not take the Mill Street off-ramp.
Proceed through one set of traffic lights and turn right at the second set of traffic lights into Canterbury Street. Backpackers District Six is located at the fist stop street which is at the intersection of Constitution and Canterbury Streets.

From the N1/Johannesburg, head straight into Cape Town, as if you were heading towards the V & A Waterfront.
Keep to the right-hand lane, but do not turn off to the Waterfront, rather continue on straight following signs to Lower Buitengraght Street.
Pass the large Southern Sun and Cullinan Hotels on the left-hand side and at the fourth set of traffic lights turn left into Strand Street.
Proceed along Strand Street passing the Cape Sun Hotel and Golden Acre Shopping Centre on your right-hand side.
Just before the Castle turn right into Buitenkant Street and proceed until you reach Roeland Street.
Turn left into Roeland Street and again left into Canterbury Street.
