River Cottage
Beautiful comfortably furnished thatch cottage on the White Waters River
with 1 queen size bed, an en-suite shower, a mezzanine level over the
dining room with a single bed accessed by a step ladder, kitchen equipped
for self-catering, lounge with an open fireplace.
Patio and outdoor braai / barbeque area. Sounds of the river heard from
the cottage. Breakfasts by prior arrangement for River Cottage and Yellowwood
Cottages only, served on the cottage patio. Self catering only in the
Tin House.
Yellowwood Cottage
Larger, split level comfortably furnished, family cottage with 1 queen
size bed and an adjoining room (these 2 rooms are separated by an archway
and a thick curtain) with 2 single beds, full bathroom with an outdoor
shower, kitchen equipped for self-catering, lounge with an open fireplace,
large verandah with a swing seat and a Weber braai.
Set slightly further from the river but completely private with own beach
and rustic seating on the river banks. Breakfasts by prior arrangement
for River Cottage and Yellowwood Cottages, served on the cottage verandah.
Self catering only in the Tin House.
The Tin House
A beautiful , luxuriously decorated Pilgrim’s Rest style house,
with 4 bedrooms, 2 single beds per room, all rooms beautifully and individually
decorated, each with an en-suite shower, 1 bath, fully equipped kitchen
for self-catering.
The house has a large dining room, lounge with a fireplace and a CD/DVD
player, large outdoor boma area for exclusive use by The Tin House guests,
facing the forests.
Private bedrooms and bathrooms with a large central communal lounge and
dining room . Self-catering accommodation only in The Tin House.

How To Get To Numbela Accommodation
- Drive from Johannesburg Airport - approx 3.5 hours
- Drive from Maputo - approx 3 hours
- Drive from Swaziland - approx 2.5 hours
- Fly to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMI) - car rental available
at airport.
We are 20 km north of White River on the R40 Hazyview road. Our white,
oval dayglo sign is clearly visible on the left. Turn left at the second
oval sign and follow the signs down a dirt road for approximately 1km
to our gate.
We are 20 minutes by car from the nearest Kruger Park gate, allowing easy
day excursions for game viewing. We are within easy reach of the main
attractions of the Lowveld: Blyde River Canyon; Pilgrims Rest, the beautiful
waterfalls around Sabie and the spectacular Sudwala caves.
