56 Kloof Nek Road is a two-bed roomed, semi-detached Victorian cottage, situated in Tamboerskloof, a suburb within the inner City of Cape Town.
The area is considered to be one of Cape Town’s finest and is much sought after, as it is situated within easy walking distance of the City Center, and is half-way between the City and the majestic Table Mountain on the one side, and Lions Head and Signal Hill on the other.
Much of the area is rich in Victorian-styled houses and traditional architecture of the late 19th century.
Tamboerskloof is considered to be a safe area, with excellent community safety services.

Directions to 56 Kloof Nek Road Cottage.
Directions from Cape Town International Airport.
1. Remember to drive on left-hand side.
2. Having left airport terminal buildings, follow signs to N2 highway towards Cape Town.
3. At the De Waal Interchange, keep on the right-hand side of the N2 and follow signs saying Waterfront up steep hill past Groote Schuur Hospital.
4. Proceed along N2 (now named Eastern Boulevard) into city, following the Waterfront signs
You will see a view of the harbour as you come over the rise.
5. Just before entering the city, take the Strand Street exit on your left hand side.
Proceed past the Castle of Good Hope on your left-hand side up Strand Street.
6. Turn left into Buitengragt Street (M26).
7. Proceed through two sets of traffic lights.
This Street then splits into two and becomes New Church Street.
8. Proceed up New Church Street, and at the next set of traffic lights, the Street now becomes Kloof Nek Road.
9. Proceed up Kloof Nek Road, passing several side-streets until you see a convenience store on your left hand side.
10. 56 Kloof Nek Road is diagonally opposite this store.
