Directions to Stonehill River Lodge
Travelling on the N2 from Swellendam towards George, turn right at the
BP Garage onto a tar road which later becomes a gravel road.
Travel for 7.5 km and at the large red and white Stonehill signboard,
turn left. Continue up the hill, through the first open gate, and travel
for 3 km until you reach the second gate that will be closed. Slide open
and then close the gate immediately to keep the wild animals in. Turn
immediately right and follow the Stonehill signs down to the thatch cottage
on the river. The thatched house on the hill is not part of the lodge;
follow the road down to the river to reception.
