There are a number of facilities and activities available to all Sun City Resort residents, irrespective of which hotel you staying at.
From 18 holes on one of our two golf courses to a day of fun at the Valley of Waves or a relaxing spa treatment and an evening safari – there is something for everyone!

Welcome Centre
The Welcome Centre is located at the entrance to the Entertainment Centre. It offers services ranging from booking and confirming bus tickets, flights, car hire, game drives and all other adventure activities. Computicket is also located here for theatre, cinema and concert tickets.

The Valley of Waves
The Valley of Waves is the central feature of Sun City. It is one of the most advanced water parks in the world, dominated by the Roaring Lagoon, a wave pool with a palm-fringed beach. All Resort residents enter the park free of charge by presenting their resident cards. Day visitors pay an entrance fee to the park.

The Entertainment Centre
The hub of entertainment and gaming at Sun City, the Entertainment Centre has a variety of restaurants and bars, a kid's games arcade, cinema and the well known Superbowl which has hosted world famous artists.
A number of stores can be found here to suit your every need. The slots only Casino is also located at the Entertainment Centre and offers the latest in Smart Card operated machines.

CONFERENCING AND MEETINGS
Within The Palace are three meeting rooms opening onto the Elephant Atrium dominated by the life-size bronze sculpture of Africa's famous elephant, Shawu.
State-of-the-art equipment is available and 24 hour professional assistance is on hand. Banquets at The Palace are also a memorable experience due to the fine dining banquets and breathtaking scenery.

All of the conference facilities at The Palace are superbly elegant and reflect the prevalent African theme. The Palace features the following venues:
Orchid Room / Protea Room
Each room is 7m by 6,5m, and in total can accommodate 80 people in theatre style seating. The decor carries an element of the rich, verdant foliage of the gardens and dramatic carved-stone design features.

Royal Chamber
Another luxurious room with doors set beneath arches of windows which overlook gardens. This double volume area can accommodate 90 for a banquet and 180 in theatre style seating.
Within the Royal Chamber; mahogany paneling reaches up to the hand-carved ceiling with elephant heads serving as corbels.
From the coffered ceiling hang four three-tier chandeliers in bronze and faux horns. At the far end of the room is a console table resting on carved elephant legs.

Council Room
This boardroom can accommodate 14 people and opens onto a terrace. The superbly hand-carved chairs surround an oval table inlaid with six different types of wood.
Carved wood paneling decorates the walls with French windows on the eastern side opening out onto a spectacular view of the resort.

CHILD CARE
Sun City has a number of exciting activities for kids. These activities include:
Kamp Kwena Creche
Relax and enjoy all that Sun City has to offer knowing your children are in safe hands at the Kamp Kwena Crèche. Open to children aged 0 to 12, the Crèche offers various activities to keep your child entertained.
Located on the upper level of the Entertainment Centre, the Crèche is open Sunday to Thursday from 10h00 to 23h00 and Fridays and Saturdays from 10h00 to 01h00.

Magic Company Games Arcade
The Entertainment Centre has a games arcade that will delight the heart of both children and adults alike. A wide range of video and interactive games available.

Thula Baba – Professional baby-sitting and Chaperone service
Day and Night babysitting service and supervised outings, as well as Chaperone service for the Senior Citizen and the Wheelchair bound.

Waterworld
Combine the excitement of parachuting, the thrill of water sports and parasailing. Let the expert instructors teach you how to water-ski or wake board.
Ride a wave on a jet ski. A daily cruise around the private lake is a great way to enjoy a sundowner. Mini cars, Putt – Putt, Trampolines, Bumper Boats and Play Ground are all the exciting activities surrounding the lake.

Steam Train Ride ‘Stimela’
Train ride that goes passed the Cabanas Aviary and over a small part of the Waterworld lake observe the Impala, Ostrich, Nyala which live in this tranquility world.

Kamp Kwena Fort – Children’s programme
This is an active fun-filled children’s programme for ages 4 – 12 years. This is a great way to meet new friends and have fun doing playful and exciting things.
There are two sessions daily, mornings and afternoons. Bring the children to a well-managed, safe and educational environment. Night sessions for Children and Teens available during the peak seasons.

ATTRACTIONS and ACTIVITIES

The Gary Player Country Club and Golf Course
The Gary Player Country Club overlooks the magnificent Gary Player Golf Course. This world renowned course was designed by Gary Player, and is the home of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, an annual golf tournament held at the resort.

This is an 18 hole, par 72 walking course, with a 5km running trail along the course. The Gary Player Country Club incorporates a Pro Shop, a health spa and gymnasium, two squash courts and a spinning studio.
Please note: The Gary Player Golf Course is closed on Mondays for routine maintenance.

The Lost City Golf Country Club and Golf Course
This state-of-the-art clubhouse is a short walk from The Palace of the Lost City. The Lost City Golf Course was also designed by famed South African golfing figure, Gary Player.
This spectacular par-72 course is a cart course, features a water hazard of 20 live Nile crocodiles on the 13th hole and offers facilities such as a driving range, and golf Pro Shop.
Please note: The Lost City Golf Course is closed on Tuesdays for routine maintenance.

Gary Player Health Spa
This ultra luxurious health spa is located at the Gary Player Country Club and is the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a wide range of hair and beauty treatments, hydro bath, Vichy Shower, spa-pool and steam room. The fully equipped gym also offers personal trainers.

Royal Salon
The Royal Salon is located on the second floor of The Palace of the Lost City Hotel. A top team of stylists are on hand as well as beauty therapists for manicures, pedicures and facials. Massages are offered either at The Palace Pool Deck or in the comfort of your room.

Safari & Wildlife
Adjoining the Sun City Resort, is the beautiful Pilanesberg National Park, which will delight game viewers as it is a malaria free zone and home to the Big 5.
Game Trackers, specialist Wildlife Safari's Tour Operators, are situated at the Welcome Centre and guests of Sun City can also enjoy personalised game viewing at the neighbouring 55 000-hectare Pilanesberg National Park. Elephant encounters can also be booked at the Welcome Centre.

Dining & Bars
Drink in the view while sipping a cocktail by the pool or in the gracious Tusk Bar. Then succumb to the culinary splendour of the Crystal Court or Villa del Palazzo, where you can sample signature dishes from Michelin star chef Conrad Gallagher.

It’s no wonder business is pleasure at The Palace, with luxurious banqueting and conferencing facilities ranging from the sumptuously appointed Council Room, to the sub-divisible ballroom of the Entertainment Centre.
All the technical wizardry you need is on hand, and our experienced conference staff is always one step ahead. This, after all, is The Palace and you can expect nothing less than being treated like royalty.

Villa Del Palazzo
Italian cuisine is the specialty of this magnificent waterside restaurant, which overlooks the pool. Dinner is served nightly.

The Crystal Court
Exquisitely prepared international cuisine, the Crystal Court is surrounded by towering floor-to-ceiling windows, which provide an excellent view of the tropical jungle and shimmering waters.
The Gold room, a small room inside the Crystal Court room where you can privatize for dinner. Live piano and entertainment on weekends.

Pool Braai Buffet And Snack Bar
Situated next to the Grand Pool, light lunches are served daily, weather permitting.

Tusk Bar And Lounge
Hand-carved teak tusks soar above this beautifully designed lounge to provide a casual, relaxed atmosphere for drinks. There is live piano music in the evenings.

An elegant lounge adjoining the à la carte Villa del Palazzo, offering pre-dinner and after dinner drinks.

Pool Cocktail Bar
A relaxing pool-side bar under the cool shade of a pavilion. Exotic African cocktails served, weather permitting. Resort formeliers Georgis Meltiou will show you how to select your wine from the Palace exquisite wine collection to compliment the food you order. Georgio Meltiou will also make demonstration for your group’s dining experience.
