WedgeView's Honeymoon Suite " De Bloemenbeek" in the Cape Winelands
Recently we have upgraded our Family Cottage, dividing it in two parts. The Master bedroom now being the Honeymoon Suite.
We have got the perfect Romantic Honeymoon Suite waiting for you. We will make your Honeymoon very special with a bottle of our exclusive Zonneweelde Cap Classique (South African Champaign), rose petals and fresh flowers. If you require anything specific, than please don't hesitate to contact us and we will organise it.

The Honeymoon Suite consists of the following:
The spacious Master Bedroom with King size Bed
· Luxury Bathroom with very relaxing Spa Bath and walk-in shower

· Small extra room which can be used as an office lugageroom (or babyroom)

WedgeView Child and Family Friendly
WedgeView is one of the few 5 star guesthouses or hotels in South Africa which is child and family friendly and allows children of all ages.
WedgeView's Family Suite comprises of a ground floor cottage under an open thatch which walks out onto the pool area:
· 2 spacious Bedrooms (One of which is the "Bloemenbeek" Honeymoon Suite, with private open lounge)
· 2 Bathrooms (the Honeymoon one with luxury Spa Bath and separate walk-in shower and the other one with separate bath and shower)

Wedgeview Country House Facilities

Private Dining:
Wedgeview is very suitable for Private Dining and can offer you Great Cuisine with a choice of 3-, 4-, 5- or more courses, prepared by our new Chef Juan Fourie and served by Yves or one of his colleages.

Both Juan and Yves have got large experience locally and abroad respectively as a chef and Yves as a restaurant manager at star restaurants in Guernsey and in the UK.

A private dinner can be served in our dining room, outside at the pond terrace for a very intimate dinner.

Or what do you think of a beautiful romantic private dinner in one of our lounges in front of the fireplace or on the main house balcony with spectacular views of the "Wedge" between Simonsberg and the other Stellenbosch Mountains, especially during sundown.

For larger groups we have our Bedouin Tent for great options in our garden or on our large patio for dinner outside but still be covered. Contact us with your enquiry about the different options.
WedgeView's Bedouin Free Form Tent

The Bedouin Tent has already proven to be a great success for last year's Christmas & New Year's dinners (see photo on the left) and Brunch and also for our New years party.
Please enquiry about the possibilities and the cost involved. The cost depends on the period of the year, the event, the venue, etc.

WedgeView' s buildings are on a 1 hectare premises and are surrounded with beautiful gardens with stunning Iceberg white Roses surrounded by lovely scented lavender and rosemary.
Enjoy the smell of freshly cut grass and see and hear the birds in the large different range of trees and bushes spread out in the gardens

In most months of the year our guests can enjoy our delicious Full English & Continental Breakfast on the terrace in the garden overlooking the pond full of jumping Koi-Fish and the lovely surrounding Vineyards.
The garden has got more than enough space for everyone to enjoy a bit of privacy and to relax on one of the loungers spread out in the garden.
Our guests can also enjoy a light lunch or snack with a glass of one of our superb wines at one the lovely spots in our garden

Conferences:
We offer great facilities for Conferences - either a formal set up in the dining room or in our conference area under an open thatch ceiling with break away lounge and private balcony or a more informal atmosphere in one of our lounges with fireplace.

Our recently upgraded and renovated Conference venue on our 1st floor under open thatched ceiling can host up to 30 people u-shape and up to 50 people theatre style. This venue has got it's own bar area and break away area with balcony with stunning views over the Vineyards.

Our ground floor venue can host a maximum of 20 people, but we can also host larger groups in our Free Form Bedouin Tent in the garden.
WedgeView offers 5 spacious Deluxe Rooms, 5 Superior Rooms and 2 Suites and a Family Suite with 2 bedrooms and shared bathroom, all King Size beds can be twinned to accommodate 26 pax sharing or 13 singles.
WIFI is available on the whole premises
Ideal for team building exercises, training or management retreats. And all our conference packages include a discount on spa treatments, just to make sure nobody gets too stressed out!

WedgeView has recently invested in a stunning 1937 Vintage Chevrolet.This beautiful Classic car is available for weddings at WedgeView and for outside weddings in Stellenbosch and other surrounding area's like Somerset West and Fransschoek. The Classic Car is also available for rental for other functions and special occasions.
