Each of the rooms offers a view of the famous Eerste River and the picturesque Spier surrounds.

Suites
The four well-appointed and spacious suites of 110 m² face the Eerste River and the Helderberg mountains. The suites have been individually decorated by artists.
The two ground floor suites open on to the gardens with an entertainment area, allowing guests the luxury of relaxing on huge wooden outdoor divans and appreciating the peace of the country setting. Apart from the above unique benefits the suites have all the features of both the standard and superior rooms.

Spier Estate Facilities

Both the hotel's restaurant and wine bar strive to source the freshest available produce for the menus from a range of local suppliers.
Subject to seasonal variations and availability, this may include organic fruit and vegetables, hand-picked herbs from our own gardens, as well as free range eggs. All fish served is graded as the most sustainable choices by the South African Sustainable Seafood Initiative.

Conference Centre
The Spier Conference Centre includes the auditorium that seats 430 people and three breakaway rooms, which can be used separately, or combined to seat 250 people.
Conference rooms are adjacent to the Eerste River and have views of the Helderberg mountains. Beautifully decorated public areas are furnished with antiques and contemporary South African art from the Spier Collection. In winter, delegates can relax around fireplaces, and in summer, chill on the cool, shaded terrace.

The Manor House
The 1822 historic Manor House and its adjacent oak-shaded courtyard is ideal for top management getaways where teams can strategise in an intimate environment.
The Manor House has recently gone through an extensive restoration and three different meeting rooms are available.

Hotel Boardroom
The elegant boardroom is a convenient meeting space for business guests at the hotel, or groups requiring a smaller meeting facility. The boardroom can seat up to 12 delegates, and includes an outdoor lounge area.

Amphitheater Meeting Rooms
There are three meeting rooms adjacent to the Spier Amphitheater. These intimate venues are completely private (no public access) with their own facilities. They are ideal as breakaway rooms, or for smaller gatherings.

Meeting Room 1 can seat 40 people banqueting style, or 30 school room style. Meeting Room 2 and 3 are equal in size, seating 20 people banqueting style,or 15 school room style.

Boma's
The Boma's on the South bank of the Eerste River are an expression of Spier’s philosophy and are ideal for events, seminars, small conferences and team building.
Five separate spaces of varying sizes were built from materials naturally occurring on the estate. They are made from adobe bricks using a combination of clay, sand and straw, as well as wood generated from our invasive alien clearing programme.
A system of screens made from local reeds fold back so that delegates can either be sheltered,or the space can be opened to the views of the river and mountains
