Restaurant & Bar:
Step into a bygone era of relaxed, sophisticated hospitality and the mingling aromas of traditional and new-world cooking wafting from our acclaimed "à la Carte" Restaurant, Straightway.
You'll be delightfully aware of the allure of the garden; the restaurant spills out onto a large veranda, which leads onto a patio overlooking the grounds.
Comfortable armchairs, a hearty fireplace for chilly evenings and a romantic dining room will make for the perfect atmosphere for a wonderful dining experience.

Our large veranda leads onto a garden patio where light meals and high teas are served. In the evening there is time for a quiet drink in our cocktail bar, Spooks Hill.

Conferences:
We offer air-conditioned conference facilities that have been carefully designed to meet your every need. They are spacious and peaceful and ideal for meetings, promotions, conferences, training sessions, workshops, team-building sessions and product launches for up to 30 delegates.

We would love to help make your big day, a memory cherished for years to come. Located at the foothill of the Helderberg Mountain with a picturesque setting of quaint architecture and rolling gardens, it is the perfect venue, ideal for garden weddings and receptions.

We host weddings on any day of the week. With our large beautiful gardens we are able to take a maximum capacity of 60 guests.
With a spacious honeymoon suite and delightful on-suite garden rooms, our Masters Restaurant with large veranda leading onto a garden patio and newly added Spook Hill Cocktail Bar, we can assure you of an exquisite romantic experience.

Wine & Golf:
Straightway Head Country Hotel is the ideal base from which to discover the world famous Cape Winelands, only a few minutes drive from nearby wine farms and golf courses.
Golf courses in the vicinity include Erinvale, Devonvale, De Zalze, Stellenbosch, Somerset West and Strand.
All courses are of high standard, and all are within half an hour’s drive.

There are 8 local wine estates within a short drive of our luxury hotel.
These include Ernie Els Wine Estate, Alto Boutique Winery, Vergelegen, Lourensford and Morgenhof.
