Remus House lies in a calm safe residential
area on a hill between Helderberg and Hottentots Holland mountains
in somerset west close to Cape Town. The house was built following cape dutch traditions and is situated on the Schapenberg hills in Somerset West near Cape Town. You can book the whole house as self-catering as well as each of the three twin rooms individually. The large kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave oven as
well as cutlery and dishes for eight fulfills even the needs for a long
term vacation.
The terrace features a stunning view over Somerset West and Table Mountain.
Enjoy this view from on of the deck chairs by the salt water pool. You
can even have a traditional south african barbecue - locally known as
´braai´.

Location of Remus House:
Somerset West is about 50 km east of cape town on the foot if the Helderberg
which is part of the Hottentots Hollands Mountains. With its excellent
connections ( Highway N2) both to the Garden Route and Cape Town Somerset
West is an ideal place to stay.
Short trips to the wine lands of Stellenbosch, Paarl, and Franchhoek are
an option as well as the beaches of False Bay.
Both are merely just half an hour from Remus House.
Cape Town itself with the famous Table Mountain and the Victoria &
Albert Waterfront are only 40 minutes away. You should not miss a day
trip to either Cape of Good Hope or Cape Agulhas - the south most spot
of the African continent.
