For couples or smaller parties, enquire about our 2 modern loft apartments or the courtyard suite. Past experience has shown us that happy children make for happy (and relaxed) parents.

All apartments are child friendly with space to play and offer satellite TV. We encourage slowing down to the pace of the past. Relax in the central courtyard which is accessible from all apartments.
If you can´t escape the rat race completely, wireless hotspots take care of your instantaneous contact with the global world. Simon´s Town is an excellent base for exploring the region with easy access to Cape Town CBD, Winelands, and the many beaches.
The Cape Point Route has much to offer and we can assist with any travel information to ensure your holiday is full of good times and treasured memories.

Courtyard Apartment
After the imposing size of the other apartments, this 2 person suite seems almost miniscule in comparison. However with basic self catering facilities the suite that opens onto the courtyard is an ideal space for a couple or single traveler/ business client who would be lost in the cavernous volume of the main apartments.
An intimate option for center of Simon´s Town accommodation with easy access to the main street, restaurants and facilities the town has to offer.

Loft Apartment
Off the center courtyard with tinkling fountain and koi fish are the 2 rear loft apartments. The white wooden washed floors and raffia styled wallpaper create a relaxed beach house effect.
Each apartment has a back terrace and you hardly notice there isn´t a seaview it is so cozy and relaxed. Both loft apartments have an upstairs loft bedroom with open plan bathroom in the bedroom. The second bedroom is twin bedded and adjacent to the self catering kitchenette.

Charlie Chaplin Apartment
Climbing up the old wooden staircase is your introduction to the Charlie Chaplin Apartment and images of the silent actor as you enter the grand doorway will be enough to leave you speechless yourself.
Throw in the vast space of two sitting rooms, a fireplace and glass windows/ doors onto the balcony for people and boat watching and the jaw will drop in sheer amazement.
The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and the 2 additional rooms are twin bedded. The space is so enormous they could be divided into two separate apartments and there is the added bonus of access to the center courtyard.

Victorian Apartment
Raised imposingly on a plinth, the piece de resistance of this apartment is the freestanding Victorian claw-foot bath in an absolutely massive bathroom- there is a separate shower, a classic old Victorian box shower if you don´t fancy a long luxurious soak but still want the period sensation.
Like the other deluxe apartments the living area is wildly spacious and opens out onto a long private balcony with views of the naval dockyard. There is a queen and a twin bedroom and 2 bathrooms. China artifacts and little antique pieces make the apartment exceptionally homely.

Churchhill Apartment
You will be welcomed to the Churchill Apartment by 2 flags dramatically draped in center stage above the spacious open plan kitchen.
The kitchen opens onto the dining and living rooms and onward to the private balcony overlooking Simon´s Town. Relics of Winston Churchill, British statesman are woven into the intricately decorated apartment. The space has lovely golden wood floors, deep armchairs and comfortable sofas.
The magnificent loft bedroom with Victorian Bathroom is tempting enough, but with 2 additional twin bedded rooms and wide open balcony no guest will be wanting to leave in a hurry.

Union Castle Apartment
The Union Castle Apartment is full of interesting artifacts including globes, antique trunks and suitcases, and a 1950s fridge.
It is a real Art deco treasure and guests will feel as if they are cruising the high seas. With 3 bedrooms (1 x Queen and 2 x twins) including a magnificent old fashioned bedstead, 3 bathrooms and a private balcony this apartment boasts an old Victorian box shower and a piano.
Despite the multitude of décor, the spaciousness of open plan kitchen/dining and living room there is no claustrophobia that would have been experienced on the shipping line

British Hotel Apartments are set up as self catering units for your convenience. There is a small superette within meters of the apartments, but should you wish to do a complete shop we recommend the local Spar in Glencairn or visiting Woolworths or Pick´n Pay at Longbeach Mall which is located 10km away.
In the Deluxe apartments the kitchen is fully self-catering with open plan marble kitchen top as well as electric stove, fridge, freezer, toaster and microwave.
Complete crockery and cutlery as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The kitchen has a full dining area attached. The loft apartments are semi self catering and equipped for your holiday needs with fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Crockery and cutlery are included.

The Touch Team provides mobile services for groups, guests, corporate, exhibitions and events.
The Touch Company Specializes in onsite massage services: i.e. providing a range of therapeutic massage treatments. The therapist´s team set up couches and/ or chairs in a quite area in a space provided and perform the therapeutic massages. There is a range of treatments for guests to choose from.

Directions to British Hotel Apartments
BY CAR:
Coming from any direction, one would follow all Highway signs to Muizenberg. From Muizenberg, follow the Main Road (only Road) through St. James, Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek to the final circle in Fish Hoek. At this circle one would bear left to Simon's Town. Coming into Simon's Town, find parking anywhere near the Main Dockyard Gates. We are situated right opposite the Main Dockyard.

BY SIDECAR:
Cape Sidecars offers self-drive rentals and full day chauffeured tours within the greater Cape Town, as well as a transfer service. A unique experience in vintage WWII sidecars. Fitting for arrival at a Victorian Establishment.

TRAIN:
Try the train for a different transport option: the Railway line that runs from Cape Town Center to Simon´s Town was completed in 1890 and connected the naval town to the main happenings in Cape Town. It is still a fabulous method of transport and rates as one of the most beautiful coastal train journeys in the world. Connect from Cape Town Central Station or any station on the Simon´s Town line headed south. Simon´s Town is the last stop and there is usually a Rikki taxi waiting at the station as the train gets in and it is a short kilometer into town to British Hotel Apartments - opposite the naval dockyard gates.
