Avian
Leisure has a magnificent situation at the top of Froggy Farm, Simon's
Town, overlooking False Bay and set amidst pristine Cape Fynbos
- this means you can see whales, fur seals, penguins, sunbirds,
sugarbirds and a host of other birds right from your bedroom! 
Avian Leisure Accommodation
Avian Leisure have two spacious and modern Four Star Graded apartments - Shearwater & Watsonia - both with their own private entrances and ample off road parking.
Shearwater, with its unrestricted and fabulous sea views, sleeps 4 adults comfortably.
Watsonia is a one bedroomed suite, with twin beds, a bathroom with large shower and a light and airy living room with small but well equipped kitchenette (fridge, microwave, hob, crockery and cooking equipment). TV. Garden access provides stunning sea and mountain views.
Avian Leisure Facilities
Facilities include a large open plan living room with self-contained
kitchen and dining and sitting areas, a large sea-facing master bedroom
and a second bedroom, both with twin beds, and two bathrooms, one with
shower and one with bath.
Both living room and master bedroom face onto a large wooden deck with
views in all directions. Kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave,
fridge, crockery and cooking utensils.
TV and telephone available and kettle braai by arrangement.
Laundry service is available in the village.
All towels and linen are provided and are changed twice a week.
The apartments are serviced on a twice weekly basis.·
We are ideally situated to explore the delights of the Western Cape, from
Cape Point to the Cape Winelands.·
Avian Leisure’s location makes it the ideal accommodation base in
Cape Town for doing Cape Peninsula birding trips, pelagic birding trips,
shark trips, and whale watching trips, or just enjoying the natural beauty
in the Table Mountain National Park.·
Simon's Town is a charming and historic village offering warm hospitality
and a relaxed atmosphere.·
There are a variety of good restaurants and interesting shops in the village
and surrounding area.·
Simon's Town has safe, sheltered bathing beaches on the warm water side
of the Peninsula, with our favourite beach just below Avian Leisure.
Access to a myriad of activities, experiences and sights- sea fishing,
walking, scuba diving, canoeing, bird watching, pelagic trips, whale watching,
golfing, shark viewing, to name but a few... And over and above all this,
there are the simple pleasures of waking to a spectacular sunrise over
False Bay and watching the full moon emerge over the bay. A truly magical
experience!
Avian Leisure is 5 minutes to harbour for pelagic trips and overlooks
the famous Penguin colony at Boulders

Directions to Avian Leisure:
Take the M3 from Cape Town to Muizenberg, then Main Road through Fish
Hoek to Simon's Town. Continue for 2 km from centre of village, past Penguin
signs, Boulders Beach and golf course on left.
Immediately after seeing the sign for Oatlands Holiday Village on right,
turn RIGHT into Dorries Drive . House is 1km up the hill on the RIGHT.
Avian Leisure is ideally situated to explore the delights of the Western
