Rosedene Lodge Accommodation

Rosedene Lodge accommodation comprises of:
6 rooms – 4 Standard, 1 Luxury and 1 Garden Suite

All rooms open onto either pool terraces or intimate garden courtyards, offering natural light and air.
Stocked large minibars, snack baskets and fresh fruit baskets, shared satellite TV, DVD, radio/CD sound systems and spacious en-suite bathrooms are standard, while the Garden Suite offers a large space with an open plan lounge, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette.

Standard Rooms:
Contemporary, cotton-linen bedrooms with twin or double beds, opening onto a pool terrace or private courtyard. Well-appointed en-suite bathrooms with showers, under floor heating, heated towel rails, morning gowns and beach towels.

Luxury Room:

Garden Suite:
A contemporary, elevated space with an open-plan bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchenette.

Breakfast is served until 12am, usually in our garden under the shade of vine (weather permitting) or in our Art Deco lounge. Start your day with a healthy fruit salad, a choice of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, exquisite cheeses, ham and cold meats and a selection of fresh rolls & croissants. Hot breakfasts are made fresh to order.

Once breakfast is done, you’ll be ready to explore the city, or if you feel like it, just relax by the pool or on your private terrace with a book or your ipod.

Enjoy sundowners and snacks in the afternoon and have a refreshing splash in the solar heated pool before going out to explore Cape Town’s vibrant nightlife – or reward yourself with an early night and unwind in the peace and tranquility of Rosedene Lodge.

Internet Access/WLAN:
Rosedene Lodge offers all guests free internet access; either through your own device (e.g. laptop, smart phone, ipad) or through our terminal. We also offer WLAN facilities on our premises.

Business facilities:
We offer copy and laser printing facilities, usually free of charge for our guests; you are also welcome to invite guests and business partners for meetings and also breakfast and make use of our conference facilities (please discuss with us). We offer fresh tea & coffee throughout the day.

Planning your itinerary:
We have done this many years now and have a vast knowledge of tours, safaris, guest houses in other locations (e.g. along the Garden Route).
Depending on the season and your timing it may be recommended to book for certain activities, guest houses timely. As a standard service all our guests receive our questionnaire which is a good starting point.

Disabled guests:
Except our garden suite all our rooms are on ground level (as is the entire property); most rooms are also accessible through a private terrace. In one room we have fitted the shower with specific handles for one of our return guests. Our staff is most helpful (and also physically capable if required) to create an ambiance of ease and ….

Daily activities, restaurants etc.:
We usually discuss the daily activities casually with our guests at breakfast and also the current ‘en vogue’ restaurant options – and make sure you get your table there! The same applies to clubs, concerts, nightlife etc.

Location:
Situated in central and much sought-after Sea Point, Rosedene Lodge is located just off Main Road in a very small one-way street with only six houses.
A quick glance at the map reveals the excellent location; centrally situated and close to all major attractions (Clifton and Camps Bay beaches, the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain and Cape Town City Centre), a 2 minute walk takes you to a plethora of attractive shopping and eateries.
Beach Road (3 minutes’ walk away), provides the perfect opportunity for long, scenic walks or an invigorating jog along the Atlantic. A major Virgin Active gym with olympic size pool just 8 minutes’ walk away and the Greenpoint 2010 World Cup Stadium lies only another 5 minutes further.
