Explorers Adventure Base Camp is the adventure destination for the young at heart.
We are situated in the heart of the mountains, surrounded by nature with extraordinary views of waterfalls and a tranquil atmosphere for those that need to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily routines.
Come and relax around roaring campfires at night and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this magnificent location that is truly healing.

We offer customized adventure tours, camp programs, life and survival skills camps, team building and leadership camps and a venue to host your own event.
Our range of single activities include abseiling, rock climbing, bird watching, nature hikes, nearby mountain bike trails, tandem paragliding flights, river tubing, caving in the nearby caves, interactive drumming and many more.

Explorers Adventure Base Camp

The village accommodation is mainly used for groups attending one of our specialty camps. Although we are not a backpackers as such, we also offer shared accommodation in newly renovated lumberjack huts, with a communal kitchen and ablution blocks. Most of the rooms have two single beds in the top village.

Down Town Unit
The Down Town units are more spacious with two rooms and normally have a double bed and two single beds.
Please let us know if you require all the rooms to be doubles or if you wish to have more single beds per room.

The top village rooms have two rooms per unit and are backpacking style accommodation.
