The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) Conference Centre is situated on the Port Elizabeth Beach Front, close to the airport and local hotels.

NMMU Conference Centre Accommodation

The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) Conference Centre has 3 conference rooms.
The Theatre accommodates a maximum of 120 people and 2 smaller venues accommodate 40 and 12 delegates respectively.
The Theatre has more advanced audio visual equipment and sound equipment and all venues are equipped with a full range of standard equipment.

A well designed foyer for cocktails and exhibitions and a dining room seating a maximum of 120 people also form part of this ideal venue.
All venues are wheel chair friendly and both bathrooms are geared for the disabled. Each venue is air-conditioned. Secure parking is available directly in front of or behind the Conference Centre.
The Theatre
Seating is Cinema Style accommodating a maximum of 120 delegates. It is equipped with audio visual equipment comprising of a data projector with computer interface, video facility, and 35mm slide projector.
All geared for rear projection on a large 2.2 x 2.5m screen. 3 Stage lighting and comprehensive sound system with conference taping facilities.
There's also an overhead projector with 2 motorized screens and all equipment can be activated through a hand held remote control.
Venue 2
Seating plan is in a U Shape accommodating a maximum of 35 delegates. The Schoolroom Style seats a maximum of 40 delegates.
The venue is equipped with standard equipment including overhead projector and screen, flip chart and markers, whiteboard and pens.
There is a TV / Video and slide projectors may be arranged at an additional charge.
Venue 3
Seating plan is in a U Shape accommodating a maximum of 10 delegates. The Schoolroom Style seats a maximum of 12 delegates.
The venue is equipped with standard equipment including overhead projector and screen, flip chart and markers, whiteboard and pens.
There is a TV / Video and slide projectors may be arranged at an additional charge.
