Bretton Beach Crest resort is situated 3km from the Kowie River Mouth along the beach front.
Port Alfred offers good shopping facilities and restaurants, most sport activities, boat hire, deep sea fishing and scuba diving.
Set in an unspoilt natural coastal dune forest, there are no busy roads and bird life is abundant together with dolphins.
There is good fishing, whales seen from June-Dec, small buck occasionally seen and great beach walks.

Bretton Beach Crest Holiday Cottages Accommodation

We offer 9 comfortably furnished, fully equipped beach cottages accommodating a maximum of 6 guests.
The main bedroom has a double bed or 2 singles, the 2nd room has a double bunk and there are 2 single beds in the lounge area.

Bed linen is provided but guests are advised to bring own toiletries, bath and kitchen towels. There is TV with local channels, well equipped kitchen with gas stove and microwave, double door fridge / freezer.

The bathroom has bath and shower combination and a separate toilet. All the cottages are private, have own braai facilities and most of them have sea views.
There is monitored security and a security gate at the resort entrance.

How To Get To Bretton Beach Crest Holiday Cottages

As you come into Port Alfred on the R72 from Port Elizabeth side (via Alexandria and Kenton-on-Sea) , take the 1st road right (van Riebeek St ).
From East London / Grahamstown cross Kowie River bridge, continue on main R72 and take last road to the left (van Riebeek St), beware speed humps, road continues straight then bends around golf course.
At 4-way stop turn left and go down steep hill (golf course is now on your left) and at the bottom of the hill the road bends right.
Continue +- 500m on tar and then the road becomes gravel. After +- 100m you will see our big sign board, another 50m and turn right up our drive way to Reception.
