Nestled in the Garden of Eden between the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountains, Packwood House sits at the top of the estate, overlooking 1000 acres of green pastures.
We are surrounded by Knysna's indigenous forest where the elephants once roamed, dramatic landscapes, majestic mountains and the Indian ocean.

Packwood Country Estate Accommodation

Packwood Country House has 3 large en-suite rooms all individually styled.
The Sunrise Room
Is located at the front of the house and features loft ceilings under thatch.
It has 2 en-suites one full and one shower room, beautiful views across the estate

The Garden Room
Is under thatch, with its own private terrace overlooking the herb garden, a crackling log fire for those chilly winter evenings.
The Lavender Room
Is snug and cosy with a dressing room and en-suite shower, located at the front of the house it also benefits from the views.
Family Cottage
The family holiday cottage sleeps 6 guests in 1 double and 2 twin rooms. There is a full bathroom and an additional separate WC.
It features a large open-plan sitting room, dining and kitchen area, leading on to a spacious deck with fantastic views the perfect place for catching the sun and relaxing.
Hill Cottage
A delightful thatched 2 double bedroom cottage, 1 en suite and 1 separate shower bathroom, open plan living area with large enclosed and very private deck to front and terrace to the rear.
Bottle Brush Cottage
This is a pretty double storey thatched cottage with an open-plan ground floor area and an upstairs bedroom with en-suite bathroom (no shower) which opens on to a lovely large and very private sun deck.
It is perfect for the traveller looking for more independence and privacy, popular with honeymoon couples.
