The Pilanesberg Private Lodge is a new private retreat nestled
on the foot of the majestic Pilanesberg Mountains.The Lodge is uniquely
situated within a 2 hour drive from Johannesburg / Pretoria, within
a 20 minute drive from Sun City and is situated in a MALARIA FREE
area. Our guests enjoy nothing but spectacular views of world Famous "Pilanesberg Alkaline Ring Complex". The lodge was designed to incorporate the views to ensure that even when you are not on game drives, you stand the chance to see any of the animals from the lodge. |

During the evenings we enjoy fabulous stargazing from our boma as the light in the area is very clean and clear. We have 5 sleeping units that are connected via paved pathways and bridges to the communal area.
Pilanesberg Private Lodge Accommodation
4x Chalets
Each chalet is equipped with extra length king-size beds with white linen,
an en-suite bathroom with a rock bath and both indoor and outdoor showers,
air-conditioning, ceiling fans, a bar fridge, hairdryer, kettle, mini
safe and a private patio.
Other features include heaters, tea / coffee facilities, hairdryers, patio
/ balconies, mountain and garden views. Smoking in the chalets is NOT
allowed.
Family Unit
Has 2 separate bedrooms sharing one bathroom. The unit is connected via
paved pathways / bridges to the communal area and is equipped with an
extra length king-size bed and two twin beds with white linen.
Features include air-conditioning, ceiling fans, a bar fridge, hairdryer,
kettle, mini safe, private patio, heater, tea / coffee facilities, mountain
and garden views. Smoking in the rooms is prohibited.

The lodge is situated in the Black Rhino Private Reserve. This brand new reserve forms part of the Greater Pilanesberg National Park. The size of the park is in the extent of 57 000 hectares. The reserve is characterized by huge number of Tambotie trees and therefore we have regular sightings of the bad tempered Black rhino.
The reserve is entered exclusively through our private entrance gate
on the western side of the reserve.The reserve is home to the BIG 5 (lion,
leopard, buffalo, elephant, white and black rhino) as well as cheetah
and wild dog.
Antelope species include sable, tsessebe, eland, gemsbok and springbok.With
a species list of over 354, the reserve is a true "birders paradise".
How To Get To Pilanesberg Private Lodge
From Rustenburg, head southeast on Karee Avenue towards Klopper Street
and then turn right onto Klopper Street. Turn right onto Nelson Mandela
Street, continue onto Swartruggens Road / R104, and turn right onto the
R565, and take a right to Pilanesberg Private Lodge.
