Advice that is not hard to follow at this beautiful resort on the banks of the Vaal River.

2 000 Million years ago, a meteorite of approximately 10km in diameter, collided with planet Earth, causing the biggest and oldest impact site on Earth.
The only visible testimony of this catastrophy is seen in the unique geological structures of the Dome.

In the midst of this World heritage Site, lies Thabela Thabeng, nestled in and between the mountains and Vaal River, 100km from Johannesburg.
