Mountain Shadows Guest House is situated on a working wine and olive farm at the foot of the picturesque Drakenstein Mountains in the heart of the Cape Winelands, a few minutes away from Paarl.

The historic Cape Dutch manor house dates back to 1823 and has been declared a National Monument.
Within easy reach of Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport, our guest house is an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Cape and its many scenic and tourist attractions.

Directions to Mountain Shadows Country Manor
From Cape Town International Airport, take the N2 towards Somerset West.
Take exit R300 to connect with the N1 in the direction of Paarl and then take the 62A/Sonstraal Road off-ramp.
Turn left off the exit and look out for the brown and white Mountain Shadows sign.
At the second stop street, with a BP Garage on the left, turn right into Keerweder Road and follow this road for 2 km until you see the sign for Mountain Shadows on your right, opposite Beaumont Stud Farm.
Take the short dirt road until you see flags on the left-hand side of the road.
This is the entrance to Mountain Shadows Guest House.
