Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Elands Valley, close to the wild horses at Kaapsche Hoop, the surrounding waterfalls and hiking trails and easily accessible from the N4. We offer value for money self-catering accommodation. (Catered packages available by prior arrangement.)
Relax in our bush surroundings, cool off in the swimming pool or have a game of darts and a drink in the cosy pub. We have a library of books and DSTV to entertain you.
A fully equipped kitchen and dining room, with the use of our fridges and freezers means that all you need to provide is your own food. Use Elands Valley Lodge as your base for Nelspruit, Ngodwana, Mozambique, Kruger National Park, Sabie, Pilgrims Rest, Barberton and the various historical, bush and outdoor activities available in Mpumalanga.

Elands Valley Lodge Accommodation

We have several different accommodation options:
Cottages: We have two self catering cottages. Fully equipped with bedding, microwaves, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and hotplates. Towels are not provided. Sleeper couches in the lounges allow "add-on" guests.

Cottage 1 - Bluegum
This Cottage has 4 single beds, two bathrooms, both with shower, no bath.

Cottage 2 - Jacaranda
This Cottage has 6 single beds, 2 bathrooms, one with a bath, the other shower only.

Private braai facilities at each cottage. Firewood provided each evening for guests to light their own fires and enjoy the resident owls.

Backpacker Rooms: Ideal for backpackers, contract workers and people on a budget, the Backpacker Rooms are twin bedded and share communal ablutions. Bedding is provided, but not towels.

Ensuite Rooms: We have 4 attractively decorated Ensuite rooms, both double and twin bedded. All have private bathrooms with shower [no bath] towels, tea and coffee making facilities. Children 12 and under sharing with their parents can be accommodated on mattresses free of charge in these rooms.

The Ensuite and Backpacker Rooms have full use of the communal, fully equipped kitchen and diningroom, including fridges, freezers and microwaves. Rooms are serviced daily.
Each night, staff light the communal fire and guests are welcome to sit outdoors, use the braai facilities and enjoy the country air. No TV's are in the rooms, but the lounge has DSTV.

Elands Hoek, Mpumalanga
This beautiful area of South Africa will enthrall visitors with it's large array of excellent sights & activities on offer. Located centrally to many of South Africa's most popular tourist destinations the Elands Valley Lodge makes the ideal base camp for outlying areas.
