Each chalet features a private barbecue area, with larger barbecue drums on wheels available on request for larger numbers. The fully furnished self-catering chalets all have fully equipped kitchens, private barbecue facilities, and heating and cooling air-conditioning throughout. The open-plan living and dining areas are comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. The chalets vary in price, starting from the great value Small Plettenbergs to the luxuriously private Villas.

Pedal cars, imported from Italy, are great fun for the entire family and are available for hire, along with a variety of bicycles and mountain bikes. Three tennis courts can be enjoyed during the day and in the evening with floodlights, and guests also have access to various hot, cold and kiddies pools.

Golden Terrace guests have exclusive use of a private pool and Villa guests have exclusive use of the Villa pool located on the Villa Terrace set against the mountainside. Add the various award-winning hot and cold pools and daily bird-feeding, and Montagu Springs is the perfect resort destination for the entire family.

Each chalet comprises two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath and shower, a fully equipped kitchen, open-plan dining area, and lounge with a cosy fireplace – perfect for chilly winter evenings. The large private patio leading off the living area incorporates a spacious built-in barbecue positioned under retractable awnings to protect you from all year round sunshine while providing outstanding views of the surrounding mountains, orchards and vineyards. The centrally located recreational area includes a large swimming pool, surrounded by palm trees and a communal barbecue facility.

Five spacious one-bedroom honeymoon suites located on the first floor offer lots of privacy and a large private balcony with built-in barbecue. Retractable awnings over the patio furniture protect guests from the all year round sunshine while offering majestic 180-degree mountain, resort and vineyard views. Josmont Heights chalets feature a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan dining area and lounge with heating and cooling air-conditioning throughout.

The four ground floor chalets offer two bedrooms which sleep up to four people, with a shared bathroom with overhead shower and bath. The Small Plettenberg Chalets have one main bedroom and two bunk beds in the second bedroom to accommodate two children under the age of 13. The units comprise one bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and an open-plan dining area and lounge with heating and cooling air-conditioning throughout.

The Villas x 7
Self-catering:
Our top of the range Villas, nestled between the towering mountains and the far embankment of the Keisie River, offer guests luxuriously private accommodation overlooking the resort. The riverfront Villas look onto the flowing water, bird sanctuaries and feeding area, while the remaining Villas enjoy beautifully landscaped rear gardens reaching into the peaceful mountain scenery.

The seven Villas sleep up to four people in two bedrooms. The main bedroom has its own en-suite patio for morning breakfast, while the large patio leading off the lounge offers built-in barbecue facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped and heating and cooling air-conditioners throughout, as well as a fireplace in the heart of the open-plan dining area and lounge, allow for perfect temperature whether it is the height of summer or a chilly winter evening.

The Villas have also boast their own privately located swimming pool overlooking the miniature waterfalls of the Keisie River which flows through the resort.
