The cottages are situated in the quaint, 19th century Victorian village of McGregor, in the beautiful Valley of Wine and Roses.
We are perfect for a quick breakaway being less than two hours' drive from Cape Town off the N1 and 15 minutes from Robertson.
The cottages are also a short stroll from the shops and restaurants.

Our charming fully equipped, self-catering cottages are set in beautiful gardens with mountain views.
The cottages are both traditional-thatch cottages sharing a large and lovely, well-treed garden on the outskirts of the village, bordering apricot orchards.

Each cottage is simply perfect for two.
Children may be accommodated on sturdy Oztent camp beds with sleeping bags at no extra charge.
They are fully equipped with luxurious queen-size beds and overhead fans.

Self-catering Cottage
Our charming, very popular 19th-century Pear Tree Cottage is a traditional thatch roof McGregor-style cottage with thick clay walls and is also a certified national monument.
Situated on the historic outskirts of the village, Pear Tree borders apricot orchards.
It offers a luxurious queen-size bed, an oak dining table, a leather couch with a cosy ceramic fireplace and a bathroom with a shower.
The private vine-covered stoep with a braai overlooks the lovely garden with views across the orchards to the mountains.

Self-catering Cottage
This unit is only available with Willow Cottage.
The Sunflower Loft is a gorgeous loft with wooden floors, which sleeps two people on a luxury queen-size bed with beautiful percale linen – very romantic.
Accessed via a traditional loft staircase, The Sunflower Loft shares facilities with Willow Cottage and is available as an additional bedroom.
When booking Willow Cottage you may specify The Sunflower Loft instead of the Rose Room, the downstairs bedroom, at no additional charge if you prefer.

Self-catering Thatch Cottage
The beautifully renovated, spacious traditional McGregor-style thatch cottage has a luxury queen-size bed.
The beautiful Rose Room has views across the garden to the hills.
Willow Cottage has a stunning slate wet-room style bathroom with an extra-large double shower and slate vanity.
The slate-tiled living room features a large open fireplace set in stone clad wall, and an oval oak four-seater dining table.
The charming country kitchen is fully equipped.
There is a large private stoep with a built-in braai, fairy lights and a picnic-type table and benches set in a beautiful garden with lovely views.
The Sunflower Loft is available as additional accommodation for another two people and can only be booked in conjunction with the Willow Cottage.
Pear Tree Cottage and Willow Cottage may be booked together for families and small groups.
Pear Tree Cottage and Willow Cottage are located on 1700m2 of land and whilst they are completely private and independent of each other, may be booked together for families and small groups.

Directions to Cape Cottages McGregor - Pear Tree & Willow Cottage
From Cape Town travelling on the N1, take the Worcester off-ramp.
Pass through Worcester and turn right to Robertson.
As you are passing through Robertson, turn right at Oude Markhuis Antique Furniture & Restoration.
Go over the Breede River bridge and bear left to McGregor.
Drive straight for approximately 15 minutes, which brings you into McGregor on the main road, Voortrekker Street.
Take the first right onto Barry Street.
Willow Cottage is the third cottage on the right-hand side.
Pear Tree Cottage is the fourth cottage on the right-hand side.
