McGregor Country Cottages comprises a main house and reception (“buitekombuis”) and entertainment area plus three cottages Pepper Tree, Lemon Tree and Orchard.
McGregor Country Cottages in its heyday was run as a resort with 8 cottages accommodating local and overseas guests, tour groups & hosting company conferences.

The property has been approved for subdivision which gives rise to vacant plots as part of the package that could be developed too.
So McGregor Country Cottages can either be purchased as a going concern which can be run as is, or expanded to include a restaurant, tea garden and more accommodation to host tour groups and conferences (It is ideal for an NGO headquarters or training retreat).

Self-catering Cottage
This lovely cottage has three bedrooms; one is situated in the loft, another is an en-suite bedsitter with a fireplace and the third shares a bathroom.
Guests can relax in the comfortable lounge and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering.
The large patio creates a wonderful setting where guests can relax and make use of the braai facilities.

Self-catering Cottage
This lovely fairytale-like thatched cottage can sleep two to four guests and offers a bedroom downstairs and one in the loft. It has a private lounge and the kitchen is fully equipped with a Queen Anne stove to add to the cosy feel.
The shady patio has a braai area and the cottage enjoys views of the village.
This lovely unit is recommended for families with children older than six as the loft room has steep steps.

Self-catering Cottage
The Palmiet thatch and 'Brandsolder' ceiling is a unique feature of this cottage which has a bedroom furnished with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the fireplace in the bedsitter will keep guests warm and cosy.
The cottage offers a private braai area.

Self-catering Cottage
A smaller, more romantic version of Oude Molen, this quaint bedsitter has thatched ceilings and a braai area in a bamboo grove. It is furnished with a king-size bed and guests have a private bathroom with a shower only.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering.

Self-catering Cabin
This unit consists of two wooden cabins; the one cabin serves as the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, while the second cabin serves as the fully equipped open-plan kitchen, comfortable lounge and dining area.
An additional bathroom with a shower only is located in the second cabin.
An outdoor braai area is located on the veranda.
This unit can be adapted to accommodate more guests.

Directions to McGregor Country Cottages
Travel to Robertson from either the N1 or the N2.
Once in Voortrekker Road in Robertson, take the turn-off to McGregor opposite Roodezant Cellar.
McGregor is about 22 km further.
Cross the ‘Red Bridge’ over the Breede River.
Take the left fork just after the bridge.
McGregor Country Cottages is the first establishment you will see upon entering McGregor.
