Self-catering Cottage
The cottage is decorated in Afro Chic-style with gorgeous sandstone tiles, cretestone walls and a large open fireplace. The luxurious bedroom has a queen-size bed, and a baby or small child may be accommodated in a camp cot or camp bed.
The exquisite sandstone bathroom has a vanity, a shower and a romantic oval bath for two.
The kitchen is fully fitted and the lounge has the fireplace. DStv compact is offered free of charge.
The patio is private and vine covered, and furnished with a wooden table, chairs and Weber braai. Hoopoe Cottage is only available as a four-sleeper cottage together with The Guinea Fowl Room.
Please select the Guinea Fowl Room in conjunction with the cottage when requesting a quote and inform of this selection.

Self-catering Honeymoon Cottage
Tastefully decorated in blue and white, with sandstone floors and cretestone walls, the beautiful Sunbird Cottage is a romantic honeymoon haven.
This is our smallest cottage and is simply perfect for a romantic getaway for two. Immensely popular, Sunbird Cottage has a luxury queen-size bed with an overhead fan, crisp white percale linen, fluffy towels and a heated towel rail.
There is a charming fire-pot fireplace.
The bathroom has an open-plan free-standing double oval bath - there is a screen and separate toilet for the modest. Outside is the rustic stone double shower with hot and cold water.
The kitchen is fully fitted.
The very pretty garden has a private vine-covered stoep with a wooden café table and chairs, plus a Weber braai.
It is shaded by a large oak tree which is lit up with fairy lights at night.

Self-catering Cottage
Beautifully decorated in a similar Afro-Chic style to Hoopoe Cottage, with sandstone tiles and cretestone walls.
The Guinea Fowl Room is a separate bedroom which may be booked in conjunction, and sharing facilities, with Hoopoe in order to accommodate an additional two persons in a luxurious double bed.

Directions to Cape Cottages McGregor - Hoopoe & Sunbird Cottages
From Cape Town, travel on the N1 towards Worcester.
Turn off the N1 at Worcester.
Take the road to Robertson.
As you pass through Robertson, turn right to McGregor at De Oude Markhuis Antique Shop.
Go over the Breede River Bridge and immediately bear left to McGregor.
Keep straight until enter McGregor - approximately 15 minutes.
Pass the NG Chrch on the left-hand side.
Take the second right turn after the church, onto van Reenen Street.
Turn right onto Mill Street, and the entrance is the small green gate on the left-hand side.
Cape Cottages Mcgregor is situated on the corner of van Reenen and Mill Street.
