Whispering Pines Country Accommodation

We offer 14 cottages, making the venue very popular for those who seek an uncrowded, private and tranquil experience.
Each cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated and the rooms are different in their layout, design and interior decor.
Each roms is carefully located amongst the trees in a woodland environment, offering seclusion and comfort in this truly unique country setting.

Each cottage has a queen size and single extra length beds, fully-stocked mini-bar, air conditioning, ceiling fans, wooden floors and ceilings.
There is also a wood burning fireplace (fireplaces are stocked and operational during winter months only), DSTV, 1 bathroom and 2 half bathrooms (showers only), patio deck with deck furniture, tea / coffee facility and a snack basket.

Deluxe Accommodation
Of the 14 cottages on the estate, 10 are Deluxe range, each separate and carefully located among the indigenous trees in a woodland setting offering privacy, luxury and seclusion.
Each cottage has a fully-stocked mini-bar, fireplace, DSTV, queen size extra length beds, en suite bathroom with large bath and a separate shower.
We also have a patio deck, tea / coffee facility, air conditioning, ceiling fans and 1 Deluxe cottage is a family unit and accommodates up to 4 guests.

Honeymoon Accommodation
We have 3 Honeymoon Suites each with the same facilities and comforts as the Deluxe Suites, but with the added luxury of an extra outdoor private shower plus greater seclusion and privacy.
Each suite has a fully-stocked mini-bar, fireplace, DSTV, queen size extra length beds, en suite bathroom with large bath and a separate shower. We also have a patio deck, tea / coffee facility, air conditioning and ceiling fans.

Hilltop House
This is a private executive suite situated at the top of the property with stunning views and absolute tranquility. 8 guests are accommodated here.
The house has a fridge, fireplace, DSTV, queen size extra length beds, en suite bathroom with large bath and a separate shower.
The house has air conditioning , patio deck, tea / coffee facility, lounge, kitchen, dining room and 5 bedrooms.

Conference Facilities
Being one hour from Johannesburg and Pretoria, Whispering Pines is ideally located and designed for those smaller, exclusive conferences and group sessions.
We have 14 cottages in total, sleeping up to 16 delegates – Single, or up to 23 with 20 sharing and 3 single.
Generally, each conference group will have overnight exclusivity of the entire venue and the personalised attention, service and cuisine to ensure the experience is beyond expectations.

Conference Rooms
We have 2 comfortable air-conditioned conference rooms which are equipped with screen, flip charts, white boards, markers, pens, note pads and refreshments, all included in the rate.
The Hammerkop Room
This spacious conference room seats up to 18 pax comfortably in U-shape configuration and 30 pax in schoolroom style. It is located in the gardens below the pool area.
The Workshops
Located alongside the wellness centre, this conference facility seats up to 12 in a U-shape and 20 in school room configuration.
The Lapa - Located at the pool, this venue is ideal for outdoor dinners, recreation and presentations.
