Mahikeng Lodge Accommodation

We offer 4 exclusive luxury self-catering double storey units consisting of 2 bedrooms both en-suite with outdoor showers. The ground floor has a large entertainment area and TV.
Each of the units offers a beautiful refuge of stone, wood and glass, merging with the surrounding bushveld.
The units are serviced every day, allowing you to enjoy every special moment.

The lodgings are fully equipped with 2 bedrooms and en-suite bathroom fitted with an outside shower and each unit sleeps 4, there is also a sleeper couch.
A short walk down a rock-featured staircase brings you to a fully equipped kitchen with a large open plan lounge and adjacent dining room. The lounge opens out onto a vast wooden deck with 'braai' (barbecue).

Whether you follow a walking trail, head out on a mountain bike, or enjoy a leisurely sun downer on your wooden deck, the potential for spotting a wide array of wildlife is on your doorstep.
Activities
Spend the day relaxing around the swimming pool or cycling (the kids will love this) through the expansive farm, while African wild life laze in the shade of the Acacia trees only metres away from you.

The magnificent kloofs and sheer rock faces that surround Mahikeng Lodge are best explored by foot or horseback, while the look-out points boast magnificent sights of the expansive land that lies before you.

The picturesque viewing deck, perched on the highest point of the farm, offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire lodge and beyond into the valley of the Magalies Mountains.
Watch the sun paint the sky as the baboons on the nearby cliff bid farewell to the day while you sip on sundowners or get down on one knee for a romantic marriage proposal.

How To Get To Mahikeng Lodge

On the Western Bypass heading south, take the 14th Avenue off ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right, pass under 2 bridges, and turn right into Hendrik Potgieter Road – Route 47.
You will see the Hyperama on the left hand side, proceed along Hendrik Potgieter to a 4-way stop. The distance from 14th Avenue to the 4-way stop and proceed until the T-junction (11km).


Turn tight into the R24 towards Magaliesberg. Drive through the town of Magaliesberg until you reach the junction at the far end of the town and turn left at the junction towards Koster.
Travel for 24km towards Koster (R509). You will go under a railway bridge, pass some silos and a few shops on your right. Turn right immediately after the shops and sign of Sandfontein.
Travel for 500m, cross the railway tracks, the road now becomes a sand road and then turn right into Syferbult Dairies.
